If the Cowboys only keep 5 WRs, and 3 TEs and 3 RBs who stays and who goes. I think Michael Triggs is the #1 keeper and the most likely to be picked off waivers as TE is a huge need on teams. Cameron Brown may also not clear waivers but the Cowboys have more depth at WR than TE... I think Mafah is gone either way and Israel "Izzy" Abanikanda can easily be stashed on the practice squad.

Keep - Michael Triggs
Cut - Cameron Bronwn
Cut - Phil Mafah

Mafah is an easy cut from a talent stand point.

Brown has earned a spot. To cut him sends the message no matter how well you perform in camp and preseason it isnt enough.

Trigg is our best potential at TE, if he practiced hard and has his head on straight we need to continue to develop him.

I think all three could be final roster cuts, where they try to bring them onto their PS. Everyone loves Brown, but they cannot keep 6 WR's on this roster, makes zero sense.

Yeah you just gotta hope you can get them stashed back on the practice squad as much as I liked Phil and I still do His skill set's not special, And I really am more interested in finding a way to get Israel on this 53 but I don't know how you're gonna do that either I think he's a cross between Phil and Davis he's got size and speed II just think he has something I don't know why I just do..

Yes tough cuts are coming none of those guys may make the roster II agree with you people need to stop falling in love with people we are too deep at some of these positions and they're gonna have to make tough cuts and there's gonna be some unhappy fans..

Look at it this way if they exposed Flournoy last year multiple times they've done it with Cooper Rush in the past these dudes are not safe they have done nothing...

So I've seen better players that the Cowboys liked more end up being cut and brought to the practice squad and some of them got exposed I thought Fairweather was our best tight end in preseason in camp last year and they put him on the practice squad and we lost him it is what it is..

if the Cowboys wanted to keep Brown they would not be playing him..he would be stashed on the sidelines like Triggs. But I think the Cowboys are playing Brown with hopes of using him for trade bait. Triggs on the other hands has huge potential in a position of need. I am keeping Trigg and hope Brown clears waivers. But Mafa is gone IMO

Trigg also has the huge potential of imploding again. Not to mention that he can't block.

I'm not cutting Brown. You don't find those kind of ball skills in just any crop of UDR WRs. If he can improve his route running and have a year in the weight room he could be a great weapon.
Love Brown. He makes a ton a spectacular catches. My only concern is he does not create separation. Going to have some struggles against better corners.

But to counter that, he catches everything. Also how often is he going to see a top tier corner with 88, 3 and 19 on the field. You keep him. You groom him and he can improve separation

I like Brown and hope like he11 he can stop rounding off his routes.

Trigg's toe injury makes things much easier.
Dallas puts him on IR, where he learns the finer points of blocking.
Trigg will definitely be on the roster in 2027 and perhaps later in 2026 if one of the other tight ends suffers an injury.

Not definitely.

I think that was the plan from the start. Teams have manipulated injuries and the IR roster for years. I can see Trigg stashed on IR. It can’t justify keeping 6 WRs with a serious lack of depth at OT.

Trigg is going to IR or pup for fake injury to stash him.
Brown is a keeper due to Lambs inability to stay healthy each season (his missed a few games). We need a #3 and i am not trotting out GP, FLO and Mingus. i'd rather have Mingus stay as a Designated Special teams and #4
Mafah you can get back to PS so cut.

Easy call. You can get RB's anywhere. Tons will be cut in a few days.

Brown gets cut, there might be rioting in the streets.
Yeah but rioting over what I mean this dude is the next coming of Cropper and Brooks and the other guys that have done really good things even Holden had a really good offseason last year apparently WR 5-7 also grow on trees as well...

I mean I don't even have to think about it I mean guys like Cedric Wilson and LAURENT Robinson, These guys made plays in real games for the Dallas Cowboys and the Dallas Cowboys lived after cutting them and then they came back and keep being these names pop up that can do things at that level but I think your argument is for all three of these guys they can be replaced..

And that might happen I could see all three being cut and hopefully they're gonna try to get most of them back on the practice squad if they can cut Flournoy and Cooper rush who both did more for this team than these 3 DUDES then these three dudes are not safe.
