Say hello to our new right tackle.
Oh, is that not what he means?
I just ran that play in my head. Dak hit Pickens for 32 yards but there was illegal motion on the play when Luke Schoonmaker sneezed and lurched forward slightly at the snap.92 Wilford Brimley check diabetes X Post Z slant on ready
Here we gooooo
wait until he gets the money, or we lose to a team and he wasn't involved muchWhen he's right, he's an all-pro level player. When he's not, he's a detriment to the team. We only saw a few shades of the latter last year when he would draw silly penalties at crucial times.
He's got perform and play clean this year to be considered for next year, and even if so, that might just be another franchise tag. Albeit, a much more heft finance tag for a lot more money.
Coog - your reply was right on timewait until he gets the money, or we lose to a team and he wasn't involved much
Some guys you pay, some guys you don't.wait until he gets the money, or we lose to a team and he wasn't involved much
Lamb has 58 career carries. Never understood the overreaction to him spraining his ankle on that end around last year. Can we dispense with the obligatory injury causing end around to Lamb this year then?
Pickens has shown signs of maturing. Could never say that about Diggs or Parsons. Some guys you pay, some guys you don't.
You pay CeeDee and Quinnen. You don't pay Diggs or Parsons.
Which is Pickens?
Once you pay them, they own you. Some dudes can handle big money and still be focused and team-oriented. Some can't.
Guarantee you this won’t matter literally at all. We’ll score a bunch and Harbaugh’s secrecy act won’t mean shi.Harbaugh scolds the media for asking anything about the game plan or what they will and won't do and even who will or won't be playing. We just come out and give them little tid bits. No big deal of course, but why not just say "we will see" and leave it at that. Is it misdirection? Knowing this team I'm guessing absolutely not.
He is better than CeeDee. If I had to make a decision between the two, it would be a no-brainer. Pickens!!!Yeah. He’s a phenomenal player. Truly.
I definitely remember some fans being stuck in this stage for a while.Stage 2: Denial (Lazy Bum)
"I don’t care what his stats say, he is not a competitor. He takes plays off and jogs his routes when he doesn’t get the ball."
That's an expensive decision. Lamb is on the books for $56 million next year ($46 million), although we're certain to restructure his $28 million base, which lowers his cap it but not his dead money since that's all bonus money. He is better than CeeDee. If I had to make a decision between the two, it would be a no-brainer. Pickens!!!

Yeah for the next 5 years.Enjoy him while you can
Really hung up on player injuries aren’t you. And to get him to another team.Injury bug or another team
Detriment, what a load of crap. When he's right, he's an all-pro level player. When he's not, he's a detriment to the team. We only saw a few shades of the latter last year when he would draw silly penalties at crucial times.

There's a list a mile long of players teams gave big money to that theyv massively regretted later. In all sports.I do some volunteer work in recovery and the seven stages of grief come up from time to time. Watching this board try to process George Pickens reminds me of that.
The 7 Stages of George Pickens
- Stage 1: Shock & Disbelief (Culture Killer)
"He is a selfish player and a toxic team wrecker. Roger Staubach would have punched him in the face like he did Longley."- Stage 2: Denial (Lazy Bum)
"I don’t care what his stats say, he is not a competitor. He takes plays off and jogs his routes when he doesn’t get the ball."- Stage 3: Anger (Glorified WR2)
"He is just a glorified WR2 who relies on athleticism. His vibe sucks and he doesn’t deserve the Star."- Stage 4: Bargaining (Meltdown Incoming)
"Fine, his numbers look like an All Pro. But I still don’t trust him. I’m just waiting for this diva to blow up our season."- Stage 5: Depression (Mo money, Mo Problems)
"Great, now he is going to want QB money. Headed for cap hell because we can’t afford to pay both of our top guys. If he was a team player, he’d give us a discount. Fat chance since his agent is the devil."- Stage 6: Testing (Herschel 2)
"If he balls out, we should tag him again and trade him for a haul of picks while his value is sky high and before he ruins the locker room."- Stage 7: Acceptance (Surrender)
"He is the best wide receiver on this team. Period. I always knew he had it in him. Forget the Pittsburgh talk, Jerry just needs to open the checkbook and find a way to keep both."
