Have you ever been to Brazil?Dallas start 1-4 at best. That trip to Brazil will suck. A lot of people don’t realize how far it is.

So you are saying everyone sucks and that’s how they get there. Well ok than. Let’s agree salary cap has ruined the NFL and MLB needs to reject a salary capYes, there is a way. You obviously didn't notice the rest of the league.
I agree. I said the same thing basically in camp. Nothing has changed that.Dallas start 1-4 at best. That trip to Brazil will suck. A lot of people don’t realize how far it is.
If you think that this team is only going to win 1 game, you are out of your mind and need to be put in a home.Look, nobody wants to admit they were wrong. Even Jerry himself had to take back some of his expectations. In his interview yesterday. He said “ there has not been this much change since 1989.” He went one to say “ we won one game that year.” I take that to mean if this team only wins one game, he will not be overly surprised. This is Jerry and his big ego, telling us. This is a bad team. They know it. So. Will you ride with a 1-16 team, expect they will be bring back all the coaches or bail?
Your opinion sucks. So you are saying everyone sucks and that’s how they get there. Well ok than. Let’s agree salary cap has ruined the NFL and MLB needs to reject a salary cap
No but I know how far it. The ravens are a better team and we have Houston waiting in return. Not goodHave you ever been to Brazil?
yeah well that’s just like, your opinion man.Your opinion sucks.
It’s was not me that said it. That was Jerry. You do remember Jerry, your lord and savior. Go back and listen to what the man said. He is already starting excuses for this team. That tells me he knows, this team has not come along as far as they hoped and he is expecting it to be bad.If you think that this team is only going to win 1 game, you are out of your mind and need to be put in a home.
That’s a false dilemma fallacy. There is no way you can watch what happened Sunday and think this team is anywhere near smelling the playoffs. Unless you agree that it’s fixed. At one point the giants ran the same play four times in a row that scored a td as your vaunted camp hero barnham is giving up on the play. So which is it. You decide
They don't expect it to be bad. It’s was not me that said it. That was Jerry. You do remember Jerry, your lord and savior. Go back and listen to what the man said. What the heck is this all about? You said everyone bought the cheese and was thinking Super Bowl. I literally gave you a link to a poll conducted on this site demonstrating only some of the members here had expectations of the team reaching the playoffs. Your exaggeration is misplaced.Look, nobody wants to admit they were wrong.
Yeah of course, the four gimme wins vs Wash and NY.Before the first game I had this prediction
8-9
NY - W
Wash- W
Rav - L (this one is close)
Tex - L
Bucs - W
Pack - L
E-gal - L
Cards- L (Cards always beat us)
Colts - W
49'rs - L
Titan - W
E-gal - W
Sea - L
Rams- L
Jags - L
NY - W
Wash- W
Then they lost to the giants ......... If we lose to the Wash ........ I will start to think my expectations were maybe to high.
My question is what do you think about the 4 forced fumbles? I think if they keep doing that, they will get some wins. What would you think if the Cowboys fumbled 4 times. Before Sunday, everyone was buying the cheese, thinking superbowl. Now since the game. People realizing. It’s new players, new coaches and they are willing except this season will not even end in the playoffs. Even Jerry said yesterday that , he is not expecting much from this team. So my question is.
Where did your high expectations come from? What happened to them? Don’t blame Jerry he did not hype this team this year. Discussions?
I'll not lose my expectations nor enthusiasm for the game I love. Adults manage their emotionsBefore Sunday, everyone was buying the cheese, thinking superbowl. Now since the game. People realizing. Come on, Bob. Don't gaslight. You know that every season is going to fail if Jerry doesn't hire a professional GM. We don't need any larger of a sample size than the last 30 years. One of the biggest challenges of being a fan is jumping to conclusions about an entire season based on 6% of the season happening so far.
And that goes both ways. If we had won Sunday night, the calls for a SB or deep playoff runs, etc would be rampant.
That’s just what fan(atics) do. Speculate to the extreme on both sides of the discussion.
Here’s what we know:
- We have played 6% of the season. No one - I mean nobody - knows what will happen the rest of the way.
- The team is 0-1 and looked bad getting there.
- Many fans here and even local and national sports media predicted instant turn around.
- We have a rookie DC. There will be a learning curve.
- Some of our fans around here were hard on anyone who wasn’t “positive enough” or sipping the blue off-season juice. Others predicted total doom. (Again, neither side knows what’s going to happen. Let fans fan however they choose)
- There are 16 more games.
- There WILL be surprises.
Thanks for the logical big picture assessment, but it may hit different for the OP. There might be some kind of self-delusion in play where one person out of <insert any number> in the fan community believes they are right and everyone else is wrong. One of the biggest challenges of being a fan is jumping to conclusions about an entire season based on 6% of the season happening so far.

All you need to know each off season is if Jerry hired a professional GM. If he didn't then you know that season will be yet another failed season. The pattern of results cannot be any more clear about that. This is why I think realistic expectations pre season should be encouraged instead of the pure blind optimism every offseason.
Expectations should not get lowered after a bad game. If you feel this roster is too 10 in the league we should not be making excuses for the coaching staff right now.
