Dak never makes the play

big time moments in big games. he more often than not.. doesnt get it done. he was like that too in college. thats why he was a 4th round pick. he is what he is though. gotta have a defense to support him.

I agree...he should never have let the ravens make that catch in the middle of the field to set up the game winning TD
If Dak could get the offense in the endzone after having a first and goal at the 2, then the final seconds would've been moot. Same with failed drives into the redzone resulting in 3 points or less.

He’s a good qb that can win a championship if everything else is going right. But He will never be elite qb who will go out there and will this team to a championship.

Thats not a knock on Dak, because there are only a handful of QBs that can do that. He is what he is, which is good, just not elite.

No reason to be surprised when he doesn’t make THE play.

Pro Football Reference says Dak has had 19 4th quarter comebacks (and 26 game-winning drives) which has him ranked 7th among all active QB’s.

Dak’s comeback résumé is not merely average. By the standard statistical definition, he’s already in the upper tier of active NFL quarterbacks”

That’s an objective source. Feel free to dispute it.

Find me how many of those are against sub par to average teams.

I ask myself would josh Allen win today's game? would pat mahomes. Yes they would have.

Once again if your qb is taking up 1/4 your cap you need him to elevate the team.

Dak had a chance to put this game away twice with the lead, and played scared, couldn't get it done.

He is, and he should be. Historically, a team scoring 31 or more wins more than 90% of the time.

Did you watch the last 10 seconds of the game? Did Dak give up a HUGE pass to allow the go ahead kick?

No, but the geniuses here will blame him anyway.

Defense gave up 34 points, and offense scores 31 points.

And it’s still Dak’s fault.
There is plenty of blame to go around. But he had the opportunity to win the game, and he did a throwaway instead.

The defense played their hearts out in a hot, muggy stadium against a tough matchup.

It was there for the taking in the end. Fail.

So because the defense couldn't make every play means dak doesn't have to make big plays?

We asked the defense to play average. They did....and we still have to blame them to protect dak.

Insane craziness.

Dak put up 31 points.. I’ll tell you what he DIDNT do. He didn’t false start on the goal line.. He didn’t kick the ball out of bounds TWICE.. He didn’t make two terrible calls one being pass interference and call an incomplete pass a fumble. He didn’t kick the ball through the end zone not letting any time run off the clock. Yeah you’re right.
Nobody said he was the only reason but he was a big part of it. He choked.

Not his fault. 31 points is enough to win the game. He's not gonna be perfect, and that last pass was bad...... he was too afraid to get sacked.

But on 2nd down, Schoon false starts and the offensive line gave him 2 seconds before he had to scramble and burned our last time out.
It's a team loss. Everyone had bad plays, and then some good moments on both side of the ball. But when you have a wide open receiver in the end zone and you throw it away, then that is a missed opportunity for a win and that's on him.
