Dallas is pretty much in the driver's seat for the division.
How?
They have won one game.
Its week 3

Because Philly is terrible and Dallas' schedule is easy. How?

Dallas is terrible too ......... how are we "in the drivers seat" ..... at best its anyone's game.Because Philly is terrible and Dallas' schedule is easy.
Dallas is better than Philly because Philly does not have an NFL offense.Dallas is terrible too ......... how are we "in the drivers seat" ..... at best its anyone's game.
We do not have an NFL defenseDallas is better than Philly because Philly does not have an NFL offense.
Offense matters more than defense. Philly's defense isn't good either. We do not have an NFL defense
I do not agree ....... guess we will find out.Offense matters more than defense. Philly's defense isn't good either.
And like I said, Dallas has an easy schedule. The offense you play against matters more than how good your defense is.
Oh how the mindset of so many of our fans have changed as evidenced by the poster gleeful that are next two opponents are 0-3. I remember the days when we welcomed playing teams with winning records knowing we were still going to beat them.Nothing like a "I'm a better fan than you" thread first thing in the morning.
Truth hurts huh.Nothing like a "I'm a better fan than you" thread first thing in the morning.
Look in the mirror. You gave up before the season even started.I’ve never understood how fans “give up?” What does that mean exactly?

You would not know the truth if it jumped up an Jerry's lap and smacked you in the back of the head.Truth hurts huh.
After 3 weeks who has?!. Serious questionWe have the whiniest fans.
I get it.... to feel like we were winning just to let it slip away is frustrating. It reminded me of the 40-40 Green Bay game, or the Aaron Rodgers sideline throw that unseated the 1 seed Cowboys.
And at the first few moments of losing, I felt fatigued and deflated. Like I didn't wanna care for the rest of the year. I saw threads like "onto Houston" and I thought who cares about Houston?
Then I thought..... yes we lost. But if Dak didn't throw that last pass away, if Schoon didn't commit that false start, or if we found a way to defend a 27 yard pass with 7 seconds left in the game...... we might all be celebrating victory, followed by declaring a Super Bowl. That's how fickle Cowboys fans who post on this forum are.
One play is not gonna elevate us to Super Bowl contention, neither will one play take us completely down. The game was a one play decides all game. Does one play really say much about the rest of the season? I think not.
We have a pair of 0-3 teams next. Our own division that's wide open the Eagles with that bizarre game in Chicago. They lead by one game. As does the flukey Giants.
If we were totally dominated, there is an argument to be had. But.... it was a close back and forth game and we stopped the run well. Passing game looks alright. I don't know..... I'm just saying I don't feel all is lost. I feel like we're closer to the Rams than the Jets. Really good team, both at 1-2, probably won't win the Super Bowl but there's a lot of football left. I say play on.
I have. Proud to admit it. I gave up when they hired Schotty. After 3 weeks who has?!. Serious question
Go figure. You bring in a bunch of injury prone players, who then dont play in preseason, and get injured anyways!I was too looking forward to this season to give up. The offseason feels like an eternity regardless.
The problem that I see, is that clearly it was going to take time for some of these guys to not only play well together, but to develop on their own, period.
Can’t do that from the tub, and the injury bug has really hurt…through three weeks.
I guess I’m ready to moan again over taking the preseason off and having these injuries anyway, which will now affect regular season games.
