Holley: That's the difference between Dak and Romo

I’m more disturbed we kicked the ball in the end zone, after that, why not kick it in the field of play and run the clock down
The kick in the end zone was a really bad decision. There is no way Baltimore scores in regulation if they make them return the kick.

Also, we need more players who are football smart. The DB had plenty of help behind him. If the ball is caught in the middle of the field let the clock run out. You need to know ahead of time what to do in that situation. Most players don’t think ahead and know how to respond other just tackle the guy like any other play but smart players do.

I agree with you. The only issue is coach, he was playing the outside zone man-to-man, protecting the sidelines. He should’ve been playing zone, with umbrella coverage. This is all on coach not the players he told him where to be on the field.

This is not a good counter argument IMHO. I've seen it where Romo changed the play and it went back for a 90 int also. You have to know when and how. Not too many quarterbacks do. But Dak clearly needed to put on his cape and win that game by himself in those last two minutes. Some people don't want the fire if they are wrong. I'd prefer a guy that goes for the kill shot in that moment vs playing it safe.

Is this the same Jesse Holley that said if Romo had thrown the ball a bit further in the game against the 9ers - the punctured lung game - that Holley would have been able to outrun a faster player to the endzone?

Well yes it is. Sometimes I think I would rather listen to Skip Bayless than this guy.

I think he panicked and brain farted there. I think he was told if the first read isn't there, chuck it away because we can't take a sack. The played started, Dak looked at GP and he just panicked and chucked it into the crowd because he was afraid to take a sack there.
I believe this is what happened. Any coach in that situation is going to say go with the first read or throw it away. A sack there loses the game.

No he didn't. Shotty didn't tell him to throw it away. He said to throw it away if it wasn't there. Dak panicked.
Watch it again. He didn't miss Pickens. He threw it out of bounds before Pickens even turned around. You can tell Dak was mad at the call by watching him on the sidelines.

I agree. No reason for outside zone when Baltimore has a time out left.

I respect Dak more for following orders. Romo won that game but never won a SB. Dak can still win a SB.

Of course the nugget in there is Garrett wanted to go conservative in that OT 49ers game and Romo wasn't having it.
And it’s not speculation. Someone who was there in the moment confirmed it. I wonder how much Romo covered for Garrett’s idiocy.

Also I want to point out that event was when Romo suffered a broken rib earlier in the game. He was playing with a broken rib and a collapsed lung.

Holley made one catch as a Cowboy and was only on the team at all because of a cheesy reality show on Spike TV. He has next to no authority to call out any player when he was a notch below a JAG himself.

Good point but the DB's were powerless once the catch was made. Flowers would have just given himself up and the timeout still would have been called.

What the Cowboys should have done was kick the ball short, force a return, and leave the Ravens no more than a couple seconds. They would have just took a knee and went to OT in that case.

Pissed? The dude was laughing. He knows he screwed the pooch when he threw it out of bounds instead of hitting Pikens for a TD.
He was pissed and said it was the worst fing playcall of the game. The clips are all over just can't post them here because of the bad language.

Yeah, ignoring the coaches helped Romo pad his stats helped him win the big one. Got it. Y'all give him a pass for padding his stats, choking on those "Win you're in" games, bringing Hollyweird to the games and going off to Cancun before a huge playoff game and after the loss he wasn't too concerned about it, but you Romosexuals hate Dak. LMAO!! Yes, like phildadon86 said, "This fanbase is embarrassing."
We need a new acronym...not TDS...but RDS

What a silly, deranged post

He won one regular season game I will break out the banner for him.

Dak has 26 game winning drives and Romo has 29. They are alot closer than you think they are.
Look up the definition of game winning drives used to come up with those numbers.

Those numbers are very inflated and include many drives that were not true do or die, last chance, now or never, in the clutch drives.

Yeah, you had no idea what you were watching. Pretty clear.
