Holley: That's the difference between Dak and Romo

Yeah, ignoring the coaches helped Romo pad his stats helped him win the big one. Got it. Y'all give him a pass for padding his stats, choking on those "Win you're in" games, bringing Hollyweird to the games and going off to Cancun before a huge playoff game and after the loss he wasn't too concerned about it, but you Romosexuals hate Dak. LMAO!! Yes, like phildadon86 said, "This fanbase is embarrassing."
Facts

I still blame the coaches/Schotty, though I do understand the criticism. To me the blame is 70 percent coach and 30 percent Dak.

Now let them do a show discussing the difference between Holley and Lamb.

As usual you completely missed the point. Whether it was a catch or not is irrelevant.

The point is that Romo recognized single coverage on his WR and went for the kill shot on fourth down instead of trying to stick with the plan of hitting the TE for the first down.

Prescott would have ignored the single coverage on the WR. Held the ball because the TE was to covered for him and taken a sack.
They failed. And it was 4th and 2, lol. How'd that kill shot go?

Romo played stupid and lost the game. He was a gunslinger that couldn't just check it down for an easy first down. He wasn't even the biggest problem in that game but come on man.

Dak looked shook by the pressure, his clock was sped up, this happens to him constantly that's why he struggles in the playoffs.

Brodderick was in for Steele and was pushed back into Dak's lap.

Pickens pushed off and would have been called if he had score.

Everything went wrong, it's just Cowboys football for the last thirty years

LOL this whole thing is blowing my mind. Schotty said that likely just trying to be the coach that covers for his players. Good on him. But the reality is there is no way Schotty told him to do that. Maybe he said if the first read isn't there air mail it and that makes sense. You can't go to read 2 and risk a sack.
My guess is Schotty made the mistake of talking to the media in the sort of shortened lingo that players and coaches use and understand, but the media took it literally.

No he didn't. Pay attention.

Not only did Romo win that referenced game Holley describes in San Fran, he did it with a punctured lung.

Tony was infinitely better than Dak. He was a gamer, and Dak just isn't.

He won one regular season game I will break out the banner for him.

Dak has 26 game winning drives and Romo has 29. They are alot closer than you think they are.

Shotty has been the head coach for 2 years. Dak has been the starting quarterback for 11 years.

It's on Dak.

dak could beat some of these hardheads with a bat to the head, and their reply would be, "Well, my head was kind of big, I guess it needed adjusting."

That's fair but Dak did what he was told to do. The playcalling was atrocious. Again I am not letting Dak off the hook here but Schotty has been in the NFL for 27 years in some capacity. And he called a give up play on 3rd and goal.

No he didn't. Shotty didn't tell him to throw it away. He said to throw it away if it wasn't there. Dak panicked.

Romo played great in most every playoff game, win or lose.

Dak craps his knickers every time against real contenders in the playoffs. Dak actually is responsible for those losses because he doesn't show up.

Same thing I thought

Now Romo also might have thrown an interception or taken a sack and fumbled the ball

They both have their weaknesses.
League consensus from former QBs and wr is that wasn’t a difficult decision to make. Kurt Warner, Carson Palmer, Boomer(former bengals qb) even sorryDan orvolvsky, all said that wasn’t a hard decision to make on the throw. That with that much time on the clock you shouldn’t (as a decade longer steered to the league with Dak capabilities) be afraid to throw a safe ball to the pylon there. It doesn’t take 5+ seconds there and the ball must has to be in the endzone and out of bounds. These guys are professional. That shouldn’t be a hard pill to swallow. Especially for a coach who’s a qb by nature.
