I don't know about you, but I have not given up

We have the whiniest fans.

I get it.... to feel like we were winning just to let it slip away is frustrating. It reminded me of the 40-40 Green Bay game, or the Aaron Rodgers sideline throw that unseated the 1 seed Cowboys.

And at the first few moments of losing, I felt fatigued and deflated. Like I didn't wanna care for the rest of the year. I saw threads like "onto Houston" and I thought who cares about Houston?

Then I thought..... yes we lost. But if Dak didn't throw that last pass away, if Schoon didn't commit that false start, or if we found a way to defend a 27 yard pass with 7 seconds left in the game...... we might all be celebrating victory, followed by declaring a Super Bowl. That's how fickle Cowboys fans who post on this forum are.

One play is not gonna elevate us to Super Bowl contention, neither will one play take us completely down. The game was a one play decides all game. Does one play really say much about the rest of the season? I think not.

We have a pair of 0-3 teams next. Our own division that's wide open the Eagles with that bizarre game in Chicago. They lead by one game. As does the flukey Giants.

If we were totally dominated, there is an argument to be had. But.... it was a close back and forth game and we stopped the run well. Passing game looks alright. I don't know..... I'm just saying I don't feel all is lost. I feel like we're closer to the Rams than the Jets. Really good team, both at 1-2, probably won't win the Super Bowl but there's a lot of football left. I say play on.
Yes they will probably win against Houston. Dak at his best against scrub teams But Sunday on a international stage in what I consider a big game we saw Dak choke again when all the chips were on the table and a beta coach in way over his head. Those things aren’t changing anytime soon. So you can be delusional and call people whiners but I live in realville

Yes there are.
I seen countless post on how some say they do other things than watch the games. Until they start winning.
That is the epitome of a band wagon fan.
Oh so if somebody doesn’t like to watch when the cowboys suck and are losing, then they are a bandwagon fan??

Yeah I disagree with that definition.

on tuesday Sept 30th in the middle of week 4 of the nfl, with a 1-2 team that has a chance to go to 2-2 in a division that is wide open....i have not given up.

That being the case, i was furious Sunday....and if this team doesnt get healthy on the defensive side of the ball then they are going to have a tough time winning more than 6-8 games.

That being the case, long season, long way to go and lot of opportunity out there esp with the type of offense this team has.

Still freaking mad about sunday's loss though....i am just starting to get over it now.

Ok Tad.. we hear ya.

That is not exactly what I said.

There are those that claim they do not watch the games. Or do not pay much attention to them. Or tune out when they are behind. Not until they start to win will they watch.
But yet come on here and offer their opinions.

Well to quote the famous philosopher, Frederick Flintstone, " yabbadabbadooooo "......wish you played edge or even lockdown corner. BTW, there is a fine line between a blind optimist and a gaslighter. And yet you know it when you see it. And of course they're gonna play on, there's a lot of merch to be sold, concessions to be consumed, parking passes and game tickets to be hocked. Grand daddy needs some more booze.

Can't imagine giving up on a season 3 games in. I know it's frustrating losing the last game which we shouldn't have lost but this team can continue to improve in spots. Obviously the run game was terrible the first 2 weeks, and showed life last week, now only if we used it from the 2.

Defensively they're very banged up, hard to believe how deep the safety group looked, now we've turned to the streets for bodies. Sometimes this inspires new game plans and others stepping up and hopefully that happens. Despite giving up over 30 points last week, the d did make some nice short yardage stands which seemed unimaginable the prior weeks.

no, there may be Dak-stans, but there are more Dak-haters.
There are many in between.
i was a Dak fan, you csn go back and look at my posts and we can hold out hope that he can become that guy early on but when someone has shown you who he is over a 10 year span then i have to believe my lying eyes at some point and also call out shills like Yobwocs and J12B and RonnieT24

Well If they aren’t watching the actual games then yeah. Their opinion is pretty worthless. I agree with you there.
