TRADED Porter traded to Cowboys (2027/6th round, 2028/2nd round)

[stilltheguru]

Bland being a bum caused this. Atleast we have a dawg corner now because I'm sick of bland

[cowboys5xsbs]

LOL

[DoctorChicken]

Porter is a really good man corner but not as much in zone. Is Parker going to adapt?

[JBS]

I mean, the Cowboys are smart enough to have worked out the parameters of a deal with Porter before making this trade right?

87% chance they don’t know who his agent is

[Displaced Cowboy]

The NFL is a copycat league and we are just adopting the Les Snead mantra of “F them picks”

[Risen Star]

God love BrainPaint. He does that excellent draft picks thread every year. He will have nothing to do next year.

he better

[DoctorChicken]

Oh no what did we give up, edit 2nd round pick

I mean, we’d just use that 2nd on a TE or guy who dropped because of injury anyway.

Of course not, we’ll play to his weakness.

[gimmesix]

For what it's worth, Porter Jr. is 26 years old and in his fourth season. This isn't some one-year, fix-it-now move. Like others we've made, these players are part of the bigger picture on defense ... for those who are saying we're too far away for this.

I say get the proven veteran parts to put around these young draft picks and try to piece a decent defense together.

[Bobhaze]

Then go root for another team.

Nothing is more tiresome than watching someone tell a fellow fan how to be a “real fan”. On a fan opinion forum.

Fan as you like 44. And let every one else do the same. I will support your right to fan as you choose but expect the same courtesy in return.

[Risen Star]

The Cowboys were so turned off with Micah faking a back injury that they traded him only to now trade for another player faking a back injury.

[cowboys5xsbs]

We waste 2nd round picks anyways now we have a proven player

[ShortRound]

[Risen Star]

Todd's on it.

Loloolol

[gimmesix]

But, we could have had another Taco or Mazi!!

Or Schoonmaker or Kneeland or Gregory or Jaylon Smith or ...

I love draft picks, but nothing is wrong with proven players except the cost.

[StarBoyz83]

I bet ya a beer we gave up a 2028 2nd and something else.

Im ok with giving up 2nds. dallas has been terrible there for like 30 years lol

[Risen Star]

Damn right. A CONDITIONAL 6th, Pittsburgh. Take it or leave it.

Knowing our intelligence the conditions on the 6th round pick is whether we can sign him or not.

[Parcells4Life]

Conspiracy theory here: did Jerry get a bad bill of health? Why go ALL in on THIS team? It’s not 1 player away
