Defense gave the team every chance to win last week, blame the O and special teams along with the terrible coaching in those phases.

He shouldn't have called outside leverage knowing they had a time out. He left us vulnerable in the middle of the field. It was stupid.

Add to that what everyone saw week one when injuries weren't an excuse and hes been pretty hard to accept.

Schottenheimer was worse though. The mentality should have been go for the win on third and here's a back up play to run on 4th if 3rd doesn't work out.

Overtime with a beat to crap secondary was always a piss poor proposition.

Both coaches **** the bed.

If there were not time outs then you would call outside leverage to ensure the Ravens threw the ball into the field of play. With 1 time out left perhaps it was a bad call. But if they left the sidelines open and the Raven threw two 15 yard passes and got out of bounds with 1 second on the clock, everyone would be complaining that they were too soft and should have been defending the sidelines.

Hindsight is 20-20, but I still think no one expected the Ravens to complete a 30 yard pass downfield in 7 seconds. The failure there was not ensuring the Raven burned all the time on the clock before making the tackle.

We can agree there were about 4 failures to close the game. Im comfortable spreading the blame.

This is what shotty and parker need is experienced OC and DC to help them be better fast.
Jerry could hire 3 of each ! there is no limit on $ they pay for coaches.

Giants have 3 OC's with 30 years of experience.
