It'll be interesting to see what they do with it, especially if the top safeties stay sidelined while the corner depth returns. Right now, I'm not sure who's going to be healthy first.

Frankly, I think Durant might be better served in the slot than he is on the outside.

That many injuries at the same positions is uncanny.

Now they have some depth; although I don't know if any of the injured DBs return this week.

Hopefully Porter is ready to go.

But I do have hate on them constantly. And they do know more football than you think they do.

I dont know man, I feel like more than half of this board would do better in stephens position then stephen.

I can guarantee no one on this board save a few would every start a contract negotiation in the media by saying "X players contract is the floor for our guy."

But saying stupid and idiotic things has nothing to do with football knowledge.
Yes just about everyone, if not all on here would not publicly say that type of stuff, or do that type of stuff.

However, many would never give players a 2nd contract, saying the price is too high. But yet many of the same would sign every high priced FA there was.
Also they would have this team full of burned out players like Miler, Wagner, Sherman paying them big contracts.

For one - They wouldnt have spent years waiting for the phone to ring, wouldnt purposely drag out contracts for media attention, and wouldnt have the need to run to a microphone everywhere they see one.

I wish they would but if Robert Belt is to be believed they are committed to Downs at slot corner.

Judging from what Nick Saban said during the draft about Downs they are doing exactly the opposite of what he does best. Saban said he’s amazing deep playing downhill.

They still want Wagner. But yes, he could have helped. But some was hindsight as well. Some jumped on that train after his season there.

This is true bout the phone, dragging stuff out and the need to be in the forefront.
Again, however, there are 2 sides to the negotiations. We do not know all the inside stuff going on there. Could be as much as the player and agent as the FO. Just the FO as you said, uses the media and the microphone when they should just shut up. Though the last one was partly on Micah as well. GP and the FO handled it well last year.
