This guy needs to be fired.

I dont care about the win - Great win but one thing I noticed in it was that this offense was poor until DAK started calling his own plays, we saw this with Romo too back when Garrett was calling the plays.

His mistakes at the end of the first half (which shouldn't have occurred because he learned his lesson in Brazil) almost cost this team the game.

If it wasnt for some very weird calls on Houston this team loses in a bad way.

The Cowboys may have beat Houston but Houston also beat Houston - And I am not complaining ill take it, but this guy needs to go.

He will be this teams downfall and he doesnt make them better.

Regardless a coaching change won’t fix this season. They are 2-2. Doesn’t make sense.

I get how you feel. My fandom of him has dropped a bit. He should of ran the ball on 3rd down at the end of the half. It might of broke for big against that zone Houston kept playing or at least would have moved us closer and to take the three to end the half. Then he goes for a ridiculous field goal which had me screaming because they miss it they would give Houston good position and an easy chance at 3 points which is exactly what happened except worse with a blocked one. I still like him and hope he looks in the mirror and fixes this nonsense because he does have aspects I like and the culture here has improved. Garrett was still doing stupid time management decisions even in his last year. I am hoping he learns from his mistakes.

I'm glad the players were able to overcome the coaching yesterday.

I was losing my mind when DeMeco Ryans kept extending the half and ended up stealing 3 points because of this conservative, field-goal loving buffoon. We chased those 3 points to the very end of the game.

I say all that to say, Schotty ain't going anywhere.

I think his likability makes us overlook that he really isn't even Garrett.
Yep, me too.

It's this constant settling for less standard that is so tiresome.
Fans measure this year's defense to the dumpster fire that was last year and are stuck with pointing out the barest of minimum any little thing that "may appear to be improved" ie run game dee for this game as a viable measuring stick.

Then in that same vein of settling for less is comparing this current coach to Garrett.
I don't even think he's as good as Garrett either.

If this was a normally run organization, I'd agree, but he still fits what this FO requires:
1. Puppet coach/Spins everything in ownership's favor/won't ever upstage ownership
2. Cheap/Fully agreed upon contract

I think he thinks it’s ok because he owns it and says it won’t happen again….until the next game.

He is seriously in way over his head, and I don’t at all want to believe that. He seems to try to outsmart himself too often.

I never complain about play calling but yesterday was head scratching. They should have lost yesterday and beaten Baltimore. Call it even and hope.

Six point swing.

Maybe having Aubrey is a bad thing with this HC.

Yup, good call on all of the above.

It’s hard for me to fathom how anyone who has essentially been around, played, and coached football their entire life to be so bad at play calling and clock management and have a NFL HC job. The Madden video game ai from the 90s did a better job than some of the clowns Jerry has hired and expected to win a title.

Jerry is the head coach. Period.

No one will be taking his spotlight, and/or given the opportunity to prove that he was the problem all along. He would rather lose and I believe he has all but said so.

Then people have the nerve to criticize me for hating him. Football used to be fun, and it wasn’t always all about winning.
