Is Von Miller Going To Help?

He's cooked. No quickness from a guy who relies on quickness. Age is undefeated. I'm 70. I know old age.

They got to do something. You can't give quarterbacks 3 seconds to throw. CJ Stroud had about 3.14 or so and that's just way too long.

I LOVED HIS INITIAL PRESSER.

All his subsequent ones he annoys me. He’s just happy to be here. I don’t think he gives a hoot if we wins and he said he’d help other guys well our rookie cb/safety is tied with the lead in sacks with ONE
I didn't. When he was talking about his leadership being the main thing he would bring, i was like, "Okay, this dude, himself, knows he doesn't have much left." Of course he had to then do his due diligence and say he "can roll out of bed and get 8-10 sacks" but if you believed that then I've got some ocean-front property in Kansas I'd be willing to sell you.

I didn't hate the signing cause I thought he'd at least get a sack every few games and some pressures, but has he even recorded a single stat yet?

Yes. He was recorded messing with Overton about...smiling.:facepalm:

I know it’s still early but for a team that defensively has major struggles that manifest themselves every week, is Von Miller on the roster doing anything to help the cause? This team in four games has only 4 sacks & NO INTERCEPTIONS! It’s hard to fathom that the defense isn’t really any better than last year after all of the changes & money spent! Reality is without a decent defense this team isn’t going to win anything.
Exactly what were you expecting?
He's 37, at this stage of his career he's a pass rush specialist/situation rusher. His stats for the most part are going to come when the offense has built a big lead and all he has to do is pin his ears back.
People keep bringing up the 9 sacks last season.
First, it was an outlier. Then look at the context of those sacks. 2/3rds came after week 11, Washington was well out of the playoffs by then.
All he was doing was pinning his ears and padding his stats. There's a reason he had 9 sacks and was still available in mid August.
He's here for the nostalgia and to sell a few jerseys. If you wanted something sort of close to a complete football player then you should have kept Sam Williams.

But he's the greatest teammate in the history of the league.

Just ask him.

That was funny.

Sam Williams has ten tackles and one sack for the Browns so far. He'd be tied for the team lead here.

He should lie on the training table so he can get his money and continue playing from the house.
