I embarrass my wife every time I do it. haha One time I did it at a Mexican restaurant while the Mariachi's were playing and after they played the head one came up to me and was impressed. I told him I'm a "pi**he cavacho" (my lifelong friend's dad always affectionally called me that ) but I love all kinds of music. He said he did too. Since one of my all-time favorite songs has a Mexican feel to it, I asked him if they know "El Paso" by Marty Robbins. He said the band didn't, but he did. He then plays it for me. I was stunned. I loved it. It shows me that we're not that different after all. Salud!

I have a crockpot of beef stew working. But it'll be a 5pm meal. I'm way too old to be eating a full meal at 8-9pm. As always, I have enjoyed reading what everyone is having. That pizza right above this message looks darn good.

Unrelated but it’s a supreme guilty pleasure of mine to watch the game on the clock. it don’t happen much with the Boys because I typically don’t work Sundays but it happens often with my baseball and basketball team during the season. For me it really helps with the work life balance.

It’s almost as enjoyable as taking a dump on the clock

A little if topic, my dad is 91 and has no idea what I did for a living. He went to one of my playoffs games that had over 12,000 fans and he was fired up...but he has no idea what it took...90 hour weeks, dealing with players, staff, parents, fans, administration, board members, media etc...then being a support system for some of these kids for years and years after they graduated....any way, I thought maybe I can show him a movie where he can see some of that...I thought Varsity Blues, but to much other stuff..not enough football.
Any suggestions???

Here's my shirt that one my cuñado's got me. I got a spicy Latina/Coreana AND some down *** homies. She's a LOT more than spicy though. I call that woman my little habanero. She grew up in the Victoria Courts housing projects here in San Antonio, so she takes no crap from anyone. That's why I've been a good doggy for 36 years now. Lol Her mom shot her dad one time, so she has it in her. She's a success story doubt about it. Actually, they all are. While many of their friends became a statistic they became good productive members of society. I'm very proud of all of them.
