Video: Daron Bland had a terrible game

Worst contract on the team and it is not even close. What a bum. You can’t even try to salvage him by moving him inside - Downs is a 1000x better option

Worst of all, the Joneses rushed to re-sign the guy a year earlier than they needed to.

Why? Because they thought they were getting a ‘deal’ because they got him for less than top of the market.

They’ve done the same with several re-signing mistakes, like Diggs, Steele, and Ferguson as well.

If they think they’re getting a bargain, they’ll pay ‘their guys’ sooner and for far more money than they’re worth.

Bland is not physically the same guy he was.

On top of that he lacks the requisite football acumen to play this system

Bland hasn’t been good since 2023.

Those are the facts.

In the three years (24 games) since his record-breaking 2023, he’s given up 11 TDs, hasn’t had a QB rating against him less than 103.3, and recorded just 1 INT.

HE’S COOKED.

I think something is wrong with his feet. He can't play on his toes anymore. He's playing on his heels and any quick move and he seems to be on the ground. Maybe neuropathy?
Towards the end of the game he did have an ankle taped up.

But yeah, not sure if his feet are actually bothering him, or if the injuries have taken something away or if he is just afraid of hurting them again.

As far as the video from no name:
1. Yep, he fell. Just like last week he bit. The trend is that he gives up 1 big play a game now. No defending that. But outside of those big plays, he is still providing solid coverage. And I stand by that.

2. That 21 yarder. Another soft zone where CP didnt dial up any kind of pressure. Daniels had 8 seconds to throw. He hit the guy right over Reddy Stewart and right in front of Bland. You give a qb that much time and he will find someone open.

3. Really? Called it a bad play just because he dropped the interception? How about it being a good pass breakup on a critical 3rd down?
Yes, a pick 6 would have been awsome and icing on the cake, but he did his job.

Hes been hurt. You know that.

He was supposed to be healthy this year. Is he? Only he really knows.

He said he felt night and day different (for the better) at the start of training camp.

Either way, it doesn’t matter. He’s cooked.

Three straight seasons.

Why is the team expecting different results.

In his defense, he did not heal from his foot injury properly.

He's trying, but he can't move and cut anymore.

I'm afraid he's cooked.

So if Bland were playing at an All Pro level, how much better would this defense be? How many points per game less? How many less rush yards. Does he help get us more sacks?

Reddy Stewart has been abysmal. Wheres all the hate for him? What has Hooker done? Durrant, Locke and Thompson all hurt. So at least Bland is playing.

Revel is just an injury waiting to happen. Plenty of talent, but is fragile. And plays that way.

CP deseves the criticism hes getting.

Im beginning to think thats the case. Even though he said hes healthy, I think the injuries took something out of him.

That and hes afraid of getting hurt again.

And he still can't believe he was actually offfered the contract he did....SMH

He was also never that incredible before the injuries and the contract. A pick merchant, that's it.

Welcome to 2023 fellas. He was done after the Seattle game. The foot thing was just a convenient excuse for people holding out hope
I was just about to post about this game. That was alarming. We all liked him at the time so it was chalked up as just 1 bad day at the office. But its really been all downhill since.

The fact that his feet dont work cant help. That cant be ideal for an NFL CB

u can just say bland played a game

every game he play is terrible
