Stephen says they just have to chop wood

It means have to get back to work.

Back in the day chopping wood was most fundamental daily chore as it was needed for fires to heat house and to cook with.
Yeah, but you don’t go back to the drawing board to cut wood.

The problem is Stephan helped create all the issues the team experiences, the wood he chops probably wouldn’t fit into a fireplace.

pj fleck says row the boat.
ipso-fatso...pj fleck will be the next cowboys hc.

With the way they played last night I don’t think chopping wood will help, maybe he should try an exorcism.

Cowboys EVP Stephen Jones on @1053thefan: “You got to go back to the drawing board and chop wood. Obviously so disappointing, to have it set up to be back for a home game, and be playing a game that most people expect you to win, and then we don’t get the job done. So, until we get that identity, until we get that confidence that we can go out and get the job done, we’ve got a lot of work to do around here.”

There are a number of people in this organization that I would love to see fired into the sun.

Would love to start with Nepo Boy

As corny as it sounds, he's right............you are 5 games into the season and pretty much stuck with most offseason decisions you made. The only saving grace is 8-10 wins will probably win the division. That's still doable...........

If that's the motto, then we have already taken out an entire forest going by the last 30 years.

Did Stephen just make a mixed metaphor by combing two idioms with the whole drawing board chopping wood thing? Just nothing eloquent about an idiot spouting idioms.

What’s the over/under on Stephen knowing which end the axe to hold to chop wood?
Ask him what the smart end of an axe is.
