Schottenheimer: We believe in what we're doing, the solution is in this room

I keep checking in to this site fully expecting to see that Dallas fired somebody. Anybody. Or cut somebody. Anybody. Nothing has happened. How can anyone in their right mind be content with the results from this football team? Are we to understand that our ownership has determined that all players and coaches are "fine" and are working up to their standards ? Really ? I'd be embarrassed to cash my check this week. Embarrassed.

Cowboys coach Brian Schottenheimer when asked about potentially making any coaching staff changes this weekend: “I’m going to look at everything. I’ll spend countless hours trying to figure it out and getting a chance to step back, look at these five games, and see what we need to improve.”

On the plan moving forward: “This weekend is going to be a process. We’re going to go through the process. We’re going to figure it out. We’re going to watch the tape. We’re going to look at the stats. We’re going to look at everything and we’re going to make some decisions that we believe will give us the best chance to pick back up and play well next week.

“We’re five games in. Didn’t plan on being 2-3. Disappointed by that for sure, but we’re just getting started. There’s a lot of football left and we got to play better. We know that.”

the solution is if CP and Shotty resigned

This is the room he is talking about! We're so screwed.

As long as you know you "got to play better," Junior.

As long as Jerry is not in that room, could be.

You’ve had since July training camp to find the solution. The fact that we’re reacting now tells me they don’t know what to do.

"Please don't fire me!"

At 9-12-1 with one win vs a winning team, 3-7 in their last 10, only beating awful wasington twice and winless Houston.. of course they believe!!

Just because you believe in it, doesn't mean it's right. I'm sure Marshall applewhite believed a mothership was going to beam them up and whisk him and his bunch up to the great outer reaches of the universe into pure Utopia. Yeah, that was a bad thing to believe in apparently. It didn't work out. Despite what we all witnessed last night, especially on defense since last year, why on Earth would they believe in doing something that fails time and time again?
Right now the Only answer in that room is Ponder to be shown the door
