Yeah crying about your exit and then TEAM CHANGING is the definition of a crap post.Thank you, Mrs. Jones. I enjoy this board. I do not think what I posted was crap, however I do not have the experience you have making, handling, and swimming in crap.
The dude was a fan of those players from that era, not the team. I've had 4 favorite teams since Day-1 and never switched even when things are bad.No one cares if you quit. Pick a team and go. Dont post crap and expect not to hear about it. Bye
Cincinnati Bengals, Cleveland Browns, Pittsburgh Steelers, Houston Texans, Indianapolis Colts, Jacksonville Jaguars, Tennessee Titans, Denver Broncos, Kansas City Chiefs, Los Angeles Chargers, New York Giants, Philadelphia Eagles, Washington Commanders, Chicago Bears, Detroit Lions, Green Bay Packers, Minnesota Vikings, Atlanta Falcons, Carolina Panthers, New Orleans Saints, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Arizona Cardinals, Los Angeles Rams, San Francisco 49ers, and Seattle Seahawks.I am original fan. Eddie LeBaron, Don Meredith, Frank Clarke, Bob Lilly. Loved the 70s and the 90s. Since then it has been less than mediocre, with the same formula for failure. An idiot for a General Manager, who hires feckless head coaches, and runs a soft camp and maintains a loser's culture. It is no coincidence that the formula continues to provide the GM an opportunity to sell the all new Cowboys. This happens with the draft and continues through camp. We always win the Super Bowl in that time period. We play no starters in the preseason and each year the first string looks lost for the first several games. Nothing has changed in 30 years and nothing will because no one is changing a thing. Same losing formula. But wait, the worst GM in any professional league is the owner of the franchise. I give him an A+ as owner. He makes so much money and his franchise value keeps rising, as he provides a mediocre product. Why change that formula? Money just keeps flowing in Jerry Jones' direction.
So, I am done. I cannot root for this hot mess. I need your help. What team do I root for? I live in New England but don't love the Pats even though they manage to put a quality product on the field almost every year.
I am thinking, San Francisco because they have such an incredible coach who innovates his offense every year. It is refreshing and fun to watch. Then there are the Kansas City Chiefs, who were in Dallas when the Cowboys first became a franchise. They were the Dallas Texans and were my first team. When they left I became what I thought would be a life long Cowboys fan. But I am done. I also like the Buffalo Bills because of Josh Allen, but I fear they are next year's team. The Raiders seem to be putting a good team together, but I don't like Las Vegas.
Looking for suggestions and reasons they make sense.
If you are a patsy dumb, I love my Cowboys no matter what, please do not wag your finger at me. You may do what you want to do. I get it, I did it for 66 years and had some great times watching my Pokes. Today, frustration and embarrassment have over come my fandom for this franchise. Help me out, please.
Yeah, its about loyalty. I have no respect for team changers. The dude was a fan of those players from that era, not the team. I've had 4 favorite teams since Day-1 and never switched even when things are bad.
Cowboys
Spurs
UT Longhorn football
Astros
That's it! The OP was happy that we lost against the Bucs so he can the narcissist that he is by telling us all that he was right. Plus being a narcissist here by wanting people to comment on his "goodbye to the team" thread.
@Pokes12 This isn't an airport, no need to announce your departure. But since you're a narcissist you just can't help yourself, huh.![]()
Easy, bro.....there's no sense in trying to consume our defenses playbook.I have nearly 40 years and I'd rather eat dog crap than root for the 9ers.
Just root for multiple teams. You don't have to be loyal to only 1 team.I am original fan. Eddie LeBaron, Don Meredith, Frank Clarke, Bob Lilly. Loved the 70s and the 90s. Thank you for spending the time. Lol I don’t not want to waste time on this post.Yeah crying about your exit and then TEAM CHANGING is the definition of a crap post.
Be a man and step back, but you don't quit for another team. Suddenly you're passionately rooting for a rival? Anyone who thinks they can replicate a lifetime of fandom and core memories is full or crap or completely insincere.
I have nearly 40 years and I'd rather eat dog crap than root for the 9ers. Pathetic, like most your posts.
keep a stepping dupreeman, our team needs a W. This is a tough crowd right now. I'm almost scared to stop in here- I'm afraid of confrontation.
Have to laugh, I'm in my 60's and graduated from Penn State as well.Good advice. Sorrily for me I went to Penn State. They are a mirror image of the Cowboys, can't run, can't defend the run. The Iowa State players have been over run by the Big Ten teams. Welcome to the big league, fellas. I stick with my team but it does not keep me happy on Sundays. I need a team for the other five days the NFL is on the telle.

Only if they move on from Ward.if I had a gun to my head and was FORCED to switch teams, it would be the Titans. I think their head coach learned a lot from his jets days and I expect him to build a solid team. He will build a defense for sure and I would think a run-first offense. Not sure if they have a QB yet though
