Eeek. This again. Carry on.

Sure, I do, but not based on performance but next contract value.........every player I listed expects to sign an extension or new deal north of $40-45M.OK, this is just funny!!!! You do realize you just called Stroud and Watson high level QBs, right? Hurts sure isn't looking like one either!!!
Those who ignore history are doomed to repeat it.Facts>feelings kills narratives every time.
I know you are responding to another post. I can't imagine ANY fan thinking Dak Prescott will be cut/released. Trade, yes.......in fact, I was just reviewing his contract last week. Didn't realize a post 6/1 trade actually saves $45M of the 2027 $131M dead cap hit but it doesn't matter. They are focused on a 2-year window ending in 2028.Cutting Dak this year would result in a $131m dead cap hit.

I agree that in 2016 he played loose and didn't feel pressure. In 2017, his flaws begin to show. Other teams had looked at his film & forced him to play differently. He couldn't adapt. He couldn't make the throws to beat those coverages. Players around the league began to call him out. HE realized he wasn't good enough and ever since then he has known deep down. That's the real reason he gets the profuse sweating & wide eyes when he knows he's about to face a real opponent or tough situation. Also why he tries to talk himself up. He desperately wants to believe he can be a clutch player ..... but deep down, he knows differently.I'd take the 2016 version of Dak in the Playoffs over the current one, even if this version is more experienced and talented. The 2016 version, played with instincts and didn't crack under pressure. This version of Dak, folds with pressure. That's big game and post season, which is my main concern.
Since I'm not arguing that, your post doesn't fit as a response. Those who put the sins of a coaching staff and a 53 man football team that consists of 3 different units on one player, is just doomed.
who is doing that? simply saying the one player is a perennial under performer and a plan to move on from him should have already happened. Those who put the sins of a coaching staff and a 53 man football team that consists of 3 different units on one player, is just doomed.
A thousand likes for this!!Amari Cooper had that look several times a week
But this time, make his salary like $20M more than anyone else just so it's clear to the slow witted.Re-sign Dak. The only reasonable thing to do. Top five quarterback all time. Sure Hall of Famer.

It's just my opinion....don't really care if the NFL agrees or not.All NFL personnel disagree w/ you.
Why do you think he's better?
I think some people don't watch much NFL football. You all are ridiculous,
Prescott is still playing at a high level and is one of the best quarterbacks in the league.
He’s in great shape, and quarterbacks can easily play past 35 at a high level; we’ve all seen it. He’s not going anywhere for the next two or three seasons and will probably stay, but as a fan of his, and yes, I was also a Romo fan,
I’m a Cowboys fan who’s allowed to like them both equally. I hope he goes and gets a ring somewhere else, like Stafford, Manning, and some of the other guys. Even Sam Darnold took the long way out, and Prescott can do the same. He shouldn’t sign a new deal or extension and should ask for a trade. He needs to be reasonable wherever he goes because of his big contract. Go ring chasing now while you still can, get out of Dallas because the fans don’t appreciate you. It’s not about Jerry or losing; it’s about this ridiculous fan base that either hated Romo or hated Prescott and didn’t realize how good these two really were. They’re homegrown Dallas Cowboys, and somehow, they get disrespected here, and I’m absolutely sick of it. I hope he leaves for his sake.
Even if he goes to a contender or a rival of ours, I’ll pull for him. I usually don’t do that, once our guys leave, they’re the enemy, but you know what? I hope he goes and gets a ring and shoves it in everyone’s faces because he’s good enough to win one, though not by himself. He’s not Superman.

We've never really had a running QB for quite some time (maybe Q?)...so not sure personnel or scheme can really take advantage of it.
Not sure he's even had enough playiong time to flesh out his own skillset.
You are welcome to review them. When discussing a certain player (regardless of position), we are discussing that players contributions to success or failure. It doesn't mean they are the only issue. I & we have explained that ad nauseum yet some of you keep falling back on this diversion tactic because you have no legitimate arguments that will excuse said player.Well if you don't know, your answers are in all of the post game threads after our losses.
Nope I never said that. I told you he was better than what you said he was.You think Milton is better than what he seems, meaning what? He's on the practice squad for a reason. But then again, I remember you were one of those clowns who said Cooper Rush was better than Dak.
LOOOOOOL!!!!
But the most telling comment you made is "I don't really care if the NFL agrees or not". This is pure gold!!! You think you know more about evaluating NFL quarterback talent than NFL GMs and coaches.....
Ahhhh.... I couldn't thank you more for saying that, because this is the greatest example of how low your football IQ is.
That’s right! And at the end of every season when he craps the bed vs high level defenses. Poor ole Dink can’t catch a break in big D. I wish he’d take his 60 million and move on to another team. I mean he’s never won anything going back to high school or college but I’m sure NEXT year is his year. Dink is nothing but a pig with lipstick. These threads always come up when he has an off game. Two INTs off the hands of the receivers. Same old people start these threads on the board.
Even if knows he's extending DakLet the board dictate, if a quality QB is there in the 2nd i wouldn't be opposed.
