Crap. I wanted to keep that guy around. All the best to him.
This sums it up. He is not some future star. Sure, he could light up Dallas but who couldn't right now.Milton is 26 years old, he's not some raw 21 yr old rookie. He has never shown that he has anything resembling what it takes to be an NFL QB, other than possibly the strongest arm I've ever seen. I read Mandarin as well as Joe reads defenses, which is to say not at all.
And people are still pining for him. Jones didn't waste a pick when Philly claimed Milton. Jones wasted the pick the istant he traded for Milton.
He can't play.
Who cares he was a scrubI think its an ego/approach thing with Milton. I remember hearing rumblings.
I could be a thousand percent wrong, but am searching for answers. Not to say he was all world, but the logic still confuses me. We traded a pick to develop a guy, who actually appeared to be developing, only to let him go regardless.
Im not saying this is a huge loss. I just don't understand what we were doing with Milton in general. If it is about intangibles, ego and such it would help to explain how little he appears to be valued in general.
I wish him the best.Wish him the best just not against us lol
He shouldn’t be ready regardless? Our backup QB better be ready!!!!!!!
I think everyone knows them already. LolWill give the secrets to our D
He obviously can’t play. That’s why he was on the PS for 5 weeks and no one poached him.Nobody is worried about the Cowboys pkaybook. Joe can play, hes not a Cowboy to keep Sam Freaken Howell. Just Wow
He wouldn’t be an emergency QB if he was any good. He’d at least be the backup. We needed a backup quarterback, obviously another division rival thinks he’s pretty good
Oh, so that's why they picked him up when we put him on waivers before the season. We needed a backup quarterback, obviously another division rival thinks he’s pretty good
Then he better hurry. And find a starting job, as he's just a backup for the Eagles. And find a team that values him, as no NFL team thought much of him as he passed through waivers.Absolutely, care, I predict he is going to be an outstanding quarterback eventually
I think its Roseman first move to tank the season and move on from Hurts. I said in another thread that if they lose 2-3 of their next few games, he may shut Hurts down for the season. There were already questions about whether this would be his last season in Philly anyway. This injury and a possible losing season add fuel to the rumor. For a QB, he can do a helluva backflip and could probably overthrow a government by himself. This is a desperate move by the Eagles but an understandable one given the situation. Sorry to hear about Jalen.
Yep, no kiddingOh, so that's why they picked him up when we put him on waivers before the season.
You guys......listen, players from PS's get picked up frequently when someone gets injured. This is nothing more than an injury pickup because Hurts is hurt.
Then he better hurry. And find a starting job, as he's just a backup for the Eagles. And find a team that values him, as no NFL team thought much of him as he passed through waivers.
Do you have any reasoning for this belief, BTW? Sorta comes out of left field to tell the truth.
