Out of Morris Clairborn, Tyrann Mathieu and Patrick Peterson, which one will have the best career. The worst career?

Tyrann Mathieu is projected to start against the cowboys, and is wowing people in camp supposedly.

I'm predicting Patrick Peterson has the best career from what I saw in college and NFL thus far, with Tyrann Mathieu close behind.

So you think Claiborne will have the worst? Anyway, that LSU secondary must've been scary good. I think Claiborne will be the best CB. Peterson will be more of a playmaker, a legit CB, and an elite return man. Tyrann will be top nickel CB and/or a good #2 CB.

wow this is great discussion. Peterson just has that playmaker quality so i agree with you that he probably will be looked at as having the better career when all is said and done. what could hurt him potentially is how much expectation is on him every year to be a shutdown corner and the new "Deion". AZ is even giving him offensive snaps right now.

this year will tell us a lot of Mo i think. i thought he did a nice job as a rookie last year. except for that game against Philly he never really got torched with regularity. after this year we'll see what his outlook is.

Tyrann is a wild card as he definitely has the skill to be a playmaker. the big thing for him will be is his size going to hinder him long term in his career. especially since they are playing him at safety will he stand up to the hits?

overall it's a good discussion to think about. bottom line though is LSU gave the NFL 3 really good players.

Im taking into account the value the cardinals got with Tyrann. He was a 3rd round pick. Claiborne was a 1st and 2nd.

I think they'll all turn out to be good corners, if Tyrann can stay out of trouble.

They all have unique skills. Peterson is the best with the ball in his hands, Claiborne the best coverman, Honeybadger just has a knack for being in the right place at the right time (it really defies logic how often he's able to do that)

Peterson by a mile. He has a lot of stuff you can't teach. Speed, ball skills, size, strength. His technique might not be as good as Mo's, but that will come later. Honey Badger isn't in the same conversation.

In terms of an overall player it's going to be Peterson and probably not close. He's an elite returner and I've heard he's been getting some looks at receiver in AZ camp, ala Deion. Claiborne has a chance to be as good a cornerback as Peterson, and Mathieu..well lets see if that guy can get through a full season.

Peterson and its not close. He will be the best corner in the league next season IMO.

If a CB is drafted with a top ten pick, he better be a playmaker. Peterson has been a playmaker since day one. Mo is looking like another Tnew to me. He is simply not on the same level as Peterson. Mo was second best in college and he will never be on Peterson's level in the pros.

Mathiu they love him in Zona but he plays FS.
Peterson is in the top 3 already.
Hopefully Claiborne is just healthy.
