We will not see much of a quick strike offense with Romo having rib problems.

Or with the play book, oc and hc. But its good theyll all be here another 3-5 years. Oh wait.

It's impossible to know exactly what's going on w Romos health.

He was great 1H-terrible 2H. You could argue the pain killer wore off.

Romo is traditionally by very good early in the season. So who really knows.

It's not the ribs. IT's how teams are defending us. We will let them dictate our offense all year long just like we have every year.

He seemed anxious to get rid of the ball in the 4th quarter, looking to connect on short hook-ups to Witten and Austin, ignoring Dez and the time he had to let his route develop. The hit he took (where he fumbled) may have been a factor in this. That play he held onto the ball too long. His mistakes, along with the Dunbar fumble and the Dez drop, killed drives that could have led to points.

What do you want the staff to do? Romo looks rattled in the pocket

What do you want Romo to do, complete 90% of his passes instead 75%? Stop acting like you have the slightest idea what the play call is and what's going on downfield. Since Romo is 6th all time in NFL history in yards per attempt, I seriously doubt it's HIS idea to start throwing 3 yard passes at a diving Terrance Williams.

Yeah. Bc competing 90% of passes means something. It means nothing. He completed 75% yesterday and put up 16 points. 16 points won't cut it.

@espn_macmahon: Romo vs 4 or fewer rushers in KC: 82.6 comp %, 9.1 YPA. Romo vs. Chiefs blitz: 57.9 comp %, 4.6 YPA. (via @ESPNStatsInfo)

He can't beat the blitz. Period. End of discussion.

That's why we lost the game. You can blame anybody else you want. Find whatever excuses that will make you feel better. That stat is the story of the game.

They were sending the freaking house and I doubt he has any confidence in his OLine, despite what he might say. Of course he was trying to get the ball out quick on the shorter routes.

Having said that, if not for the phantom PI call on Dez and the Dez drop in the fourth quarter, Romo throws for like 350 and this thread doesnt exist.

More than any other part of the passing game, beating the blitz depends on all 11 guys. There is nothing Romo can do if guys can't get open...

OMG. The season is over. Everyone knows our weakness now. 1-15. Lock it up. Just blitz.

No it's not and your analysis means next to nothing to me because you are clueless. You're just another quarterback worshiper who believes QBs are the entire team and they play the game in a vacuum. You're oblivious to anything but the most simple analysis.

How about calling some draws and shovel pass or rolling him out? The only thing the defenses has to do to beat our offense is blitz and drop someone to defend a slant. KC did that perfectly.

This is true. It's definitely an issue if the WRs aren't getting open.

So why doesn't romo call any of that? He has full reign of this offense

Well, when the defense plays well-which they did. And the offensive line protects the QB well-which they did

I fully expect the QB to do his job for us to win the game. Tony didn't

He had time to throw in a lot of cases but he was determined to get rid of the ball quickly. I do think his rib injury was a factor. He could have made better decisions and he would be the first to say it.
