Megatron isn't super human. He can be covered. He wasn't producing huge numbers this season before the cowboys. We just suck defensively.

Jerry can say whatever he wants, he's the dang owner.

Calvin Johnson reminds me of Terrell Owens in the physical aspect. And I think Deion could have shut them both down.

Only other player to dominate a position like Deion was Jerry rice.

I don't know if Deion could have covered CJ or not. I do know this. If we had Deion on the field, he could have taken out the other WR to the point that the guy showed straight 0s in his game log. Like he was inactive. That would have allowed us to double CJ all over the field IMO. We could have cheated safeties, a lot of things we could have done with a CB like Deion. Of course, the problem is, there are no Deions out there so this whole discussion is basically about digging holes in the backyard so that we can go back and fill them right back up again.

I agree with your post but I will say this. Megatron only just got healthy again. He's been hurt most of the year with a knee injury, up until week 7. He hung up 155 and two TDs against a much, much better Cincy defense.

He's coming on, looks like.

They just said on ESPN First Take that Jerry said Deion could cover Megatron. This thread isn't to speculate about the hypothetical matchup. Why is Jerry still talking? His organization just got humiliated and he can't keep his mouth shut. Does anyone know when he said this. It's getting to the point where I like to see Dallas get humiliated just to make Jerry look more like a joke.

I wouldn't be surprised if Jerry goes after Mike Evans when he enters the draft, so he can have his own Megatron. Jerry is known to have a weakness when it comes to going after WR's, and he can be a knee-jerk copycat. I would rather just draft linemen next year, but Jerry is unlikely to do that.
