For everyone who thinks its the players and not the coaching that is stopping this team from being great, let me ask you a question. Minus the fact they play in a very easy division, how is it, that the Patriots, with no receivers and mediocre run game and an alright defense, are 6-2? Brady has been having one of the worst seasons of his career and still pulls out wins. Now if thats not good gameplanning and adjusting to other teams i dont know what else needs to be said. This team needs a coach that has a clue about what goes on on the field, i dont care how good he is at managing personnel i want to see that translate to wins when we should win.

Jerry wanted this team to be able to lead itself, except someone forgot to tell him it wasn't 1995 anymore.

Using a team that has Tom Brady as the QB might not be a good example.

Cowboys Defense: Players are the problem.

Cowboys Offense: Coaching appears to be the problem.

Well, all I can do sometime is smile because something is fundamentally wrong with this team.

And he doesn't have a great roster that someone who knows talent and how to direct and motivate it assembled for him.

The winning percentage of the teams the 6 teams the Pats have beaten is .400. The lost to a .500 team (Jets) and the Bengals. Their only win against a good team is NO (at home). The winning percentage of the teams we've beaten isn't good, but all the teams we've lost to are over .500, and two of them are a combined 15-1.

Now, there's no argument that the Pats have better coaching, but to put it all on coaching just given team records, is incomplete.

Something is fundamentally wrong with this team. The sooner everyone in and around the "situation" realizes that fundamental wrong, the sooner it can be addressed and hopefully corrected...after 18 years!

It's the chain of command but that isn't easily fixed when the weakest link demands to be part of the chain.

The problem is coaching. When a team can stand toe to toe with any team until the waning moments of a game shows that its not talent. But when we all of a sudden blow it when we have a lead or tie, that means its coaching. The coach wins you those close games by the decisions, or the indecisions that can determine the outcome. Thats common knowledge. Therefore, if a team can be close on the majority of the games that we play and find ways to lose it at the end, thats a coaching problem. Not talent.

Maybe it does stem back to Jerry, but he can only do so much. He is not on the field playing. Something else is wrong and I have no clue what it is.

Notice there was no mention of his name for you to draw a conclusion.

It's the Pink Elephant in the Room, not being unnoticed but just being ignored..

Brady did win the Saints game. We've only been teased.
He also threw an interception in the 4th that should've closed the game, but the Saints didn't capitalize.

Brady has been terrible almost every game for the Patriots this year, they're winning games with defense/coaching, something that can't be said for Dallas.

Jason Garrett? Sorry but when it comes down to not getting our superstar the ball, not kneeling down and knowing how to manage a clock in certain situations, that lands fully on his shoulders.

The only reason I brought his name up is because there has to be a starting point. And I really don't blame Jerry, but something is wrong, in a surreal way.

In a surreal way for 18 years and counting.

If it isn't him, you can figure out what it is, don't think about anything else for 10 full mins......now open your eyes ... it's that darned ole' Pink Elephant again.

Thats it! Our fundamentals are wrong. Our fundamentals should be to win, and every action that we take should be towards winning. Somehow, this team has forgotten how to win. But that starts from the top. Jerry Jones and Garrett are at the top. If they can't foster a system where the fundamentals are nothing but winning then you get half the results that you aim for.

Garrett has had a very mediocre record since being coach. Change starts from the top. His fundamentals are out of whack because winning isn't the top priority.

Explain the Pink Elephant to me...I don't get the message.

Stop it!!! everyone that thinks this just stop it!!! Coaching is not the problem you could say defensive coord. But coaching is not the problem. It is the palyers. The patriots execute. Garrett is building this team, but he needs to be given the time and patience to fiinish, he is still cleaning out the rif raf that Parcells and Phillips left, the culture those guys Ieft. The depth that people are always complaining that we need on defense well we have it, they are starters, and they getting primed a couple may become starters but if we keep them, they will be the rotational guys need. yeah, the defense is getting hammered but they are being forged into a weapon of destruction, Sean Lee and Hatcher will not let them quit.

People watch this team.
