Vikings game is supremely important

omg if we dont win this game, whatever will happen? oh right, we ll keep living our lives.

The Earth will certainly keep turning, but ******-

I want the team I root for to win!

Win! Not one week and lose the next like it's a guarantee-

I don't gamble on games- maybe I should because the Cowboys are becoming a sure bet.

Yes, the world keep going around that star that gives us skin cancer, but I would like something to change...

I want our Dallas Cowboys to start winning consistently. Sometimes convincingly. With a good gameplan.

With good execution. With players that want to win more than anything. Not the final play ending up in heartbreak. I'm a little tired of that.

I've seen good things happen- I've watched this team since 1988. I've seen them make it to the top. Now...

I just want to see some consistent progress and for every step forward on one aspect that happens-

Two other aspects go two steps back.

Students who go through school with a 2.0 GPA their whole time in school is exactly that- a cruddy student and that's it. And that's what we're seeing and like loving parents- many of us turn a blind eye to the regressions in lieu of the progressions while the overall product is unchanged.

I want to see that GPA go up! I don't care if they got better at Math if it meant they got worse at History!

Is that too much to ask for?

just a bit much. sorry but the team is going to do what jerry wants it to do and frankily im not impressed or hping to see Stephen at this point.

Can't please everybody, but what I said-

Although it may have been much-

It's what I feel as an individual fan.

And I didn't mention Jerry, or Stephen.

good, than maybe you ll see some of the other problems in the organization and why im not in a hurry to get rid of Jerry, because im personally afraid Stephen will be that bad. Thats just personal opinion.

I cannot disagree with you.

Stephen hasn't done anything to encourage me either.

You just wait til he pops the top on that bottle of 'secret sauce' that he has. You will eat those words, pal.

Ha ha ha!

Ha haaaaaahahaha!

Secret sauce...

Wait- you WERE messing with me, right?

I want nothing to do with Stephen Jones "secret sauce".

You do remember prior to the start of the season that he mentioned he had the secret sauce, right?

I do. I even think I asked what that was all about before the season started.

I've since tried to black that out.

Like Canadian 90's hockey hair...

Shudder...

Has he done anything to discourage you?

I honestly can't say...

But I do know he hasn't done anything to ENCOURAGE me.

I hope he does.

I don't wish failure upon the team I root for.

I WANT him to do better than his predecessor.

We are due for real stinker. Hope they don't come off looking like the Rams did vs Seattle.

Has he done anything to discourage you?

yes, because thats his father and if he cares for this team he would either stand on his fathers desk and start questioning his father or at least shwoing Jerry how hes been wrong.

he has not gone off the reservation and at elast say "i will have different plans, i am going to take this organization in another direction"

anything, anything that says "I will not make the same mistakes as my father"

I hae had to stand on my fathers desk many a times to say "you are wrong, lets talk about other options"

Jerry might like the cowboys, but he loves money. Stephen should be using anything at his disposal to pinpoint where his dad as been extremely wrong and get himself injected more into this team and start doing things the right way.

Yep, you really must win the home games...especially when they are the more "winnable" ones and in the conference.
If you're ranking this as far as level of importance, it falls in line with the St Louis game; home and in conference. It's lower than all the division games (home and away) but maybe higher than the road game at Detroit and way higher than all the AFC games.
Because the team is 4-4 (vs, say 6-2) it all the more important.

So far, they really have not lost any games that they should have for sure won.

Lose this one and it could get really ugly.

wow any one really think this team I s going to be seahawks or niners or saints or lions even at home
it really don't matter they will be one and done even if they make the playoffs

This franchise has seen its ups and downs since the early 60s, but never for very long, not like it is now. I believe the Cowboy locker room swagger and expectations are gone and have been replaced with expectations of losing. Our "lofty" goal for the past 15yrs is just to make the freaking playoffs and win a game. As a fan all I know is that the team will flash competence every now and then and it will look ridiculously bad every other week. I hope they beat Minny this weekend but attaching any significance to the game seems pretty pointless. The wheels are gonna fall off this wagon at some point.

and there's your gloomy thought for the day, Happy Halloween,,,,

Just get there. I would pleased be that my Cowboys are in the playoffs. Anything can happen once you're there. Who knows? Maybe we'll get some of our injured players back and be on a roll by the time the playoffs start. You never know. Stranger things have happened.

That is the only thing I am holding on to as well. Get there and see what happens. Who knows if we have even more injuries by that time.

The alternate, if we lose to Minnesota, then I don't care. Let them meltdown begin and force some changes...starting with Garrett.

If not the boys, then who do you want, the skins? I'd rather win the division and lose in the first round.
