Lol...You beat me to it.

Everything YOU say is heresay.....
Why? Is it his fault the DL and others went completely south with injuries this year?
Here are a few questions I would like to ask you. Let me first say I have no inside information and no clue how the players feel about the coaches. But for the sake of discussion lets ask anyway.
** Did you think the team quit on Wade Phillips?
** If so, what led you to that conclusion?
** Did you see the very same type of behavior - quitting - in the Saints' game?
** If not, how did one differ from the other?
As I recall, and I could be wrong, but not one player made a public comment about Wade when the team quit on him - if that is what actually transpired. There were rumbles, somewhat like this thing brought out by Broaddus. But I do not remember any player actually making a comment that they were done, they questioned Phillips, or that they quit.
However, there are some of the same players on this team that were on that team. And since the common denominator of all teams, regardless of coaching, is the players and their attitudes and talent.
** Then would it be a reach for this team to quit on their coaches - and these could very well be the same players that "quit" before?
To me it seems possible, however unlikely.
But then I do not have a stake in this coaching staff, nor have pinned my hopes on a miracle when the evidence has been pretty clear for three years this team is middle of the road.
Monster post- you are putting him on the spot.
To be fair, since I'm responding- I'll throw out my opinions: *Assuming What Broaddus is saying is true-
1: Yes
2: The effort stopped and the give-up took over until Garret was given the reigns.
3: I think I did. In the heat of the moment I did.
4: I can't give a good answer for that without a lot of thought- you pose an excellent question there. I haven't come up with a dispute against that it didn't.
Your comment: you're 100% right.
5: A little, but not a big one. I would not be surprised if that's the case (which is sad in and of itself), but I would be disappointed and that would basically prove that there is a void in locker-room leadership.
Or- if there WAS good locker-room leadership, it may well seem to be against the current coaching staff. Which I don't don't know which is worse.
Thanks, bro...I couldn't have said it better.
So Broaddus is a yessir company man until he says something you agree with?
Got it.
I know I'm interfering in your conversation here, but I would like to state for the record that you are not very go at the art of sarcasm. Try a little tenderness.
Anyone who thinks players are going to come forward and badmouth the coaching staff for public consumption is delusional. Broaddus has always been a straight shooter. If he says that's what's happening in the locker room, I'd say it's more than likely 100% true. Why wouldn't they question them -- we do it all the time. They're no different than anyone else. Anytime things go awry, people question it.
What did they do? Run a meeting too long, call a player out, just curious what they did. Who cares the Broaddus believes the players are questioning the defensive scheme until a player says it publicly I think it is just his thoughtsBroaddus said that when he walks through the lockerroom players are telling him "can you belive what the coaches did there" and Broaddus also said that he believes the players are starting to question the defensive scheme being used.
Looks like Opie and Grandpa are starting to wear out their welcome, really dont see how Garrett survives if this thing goes south and we miss the playoffs. Look for a clean sweep of the coaching staff if that happens.
I am just passing on what Broaddus is saying that he hears....................I have no reason to think Broaddus is lying about it.................so I believe him.
If others want to pretend everything is fine and dandy and this is all made up.................thats their choice.
Broaddus Said Players Questioning Coaching Privately
Yeah, if Romo or some players on the team came straight out and questions the coaches in the media, Like RG 11/2, maybe I could believe there is a conflict between player and coaches.
Until then, it just noise to make noise.
Broaddus said that when he walks through the lockerroom players are telling him "can you belive what the coaches did there" and Broaddus also said that he believes the players are starting to question the defensive scheme being used.

Anyone listen to this and have an approximate minute-mark to the comments in question, by any chance? I heard about 20 minutes during my drive time, but it was pretty tame up until that point.
