Wow, wonder how fast that car was going. What a shame, two lives lost needlessly :(

I read somewhere that said he and friend were out for a "joyride". By the looks of the damage to the car im guessing there was excessive speed involved.

That's 5 mins from my house in Valencia. He was part owner in a car shop on that road. Everyone in town is pretty upset that we will be known as that town where Paul Walker died. We have a lot of single car accidents here because we have long roads with turns

Isn't that near Copper Hill Dr? If so, it is an extremely dangerous road, almost impossible to see whats 20 feet ahead with the hills and sharp turns.

Carl Boyer rye canyon and Copper all intersect. He was up by the Walmart

RIP

Running Scared is great movie. I also liked Joy Ride and the most the F&F movies.

Trying to do a good thing and this is what happened, how sad.

If he was driving, this would have never happened.

RIP Paul Walker.. take the fast track all the way to heaven.

“I was just with him no more than 2 or 3 hours ago. Talking cars, he was so happy seeing all his friends get together to look at the cars,” entrepreneur Bill Townsend wrote on his Facebook page. “I hope it wasn’t him in the wreck, but if it was, he would have passed doing something he loved, which is driving cars. The world lost an angel in Paul. He dedicated so much of his life to helping disadvantaged kids and people who are in need, with his charity recently assisting those in the tornadoes in the Midwest and the trauma in the Philippines. Just today we had hundreds of toys donated for kids, all apart of Paul‘s charity. If this sad news indeed true I’m going to do whatever I can to keep Paul‘s goals for the charity alive.”

A source familiar with the incident, tells Necole*****ie.com:
Paul is the face of a Philippines relief benefit and today they held a drive for kids in Santa Clarita. He was at the company’s office where he also stores his car collection. He and a friend took a spin in one of his Porsches (they all collect cars) and they crashed. He was not driving. One of the bosses and one of his best friends went to the site and attempted to save Paul but was fighting with the police who were trying to keep them back because of the explosion. Everyone is devastated and can’t believe it happened.

All roads are blocked off just drove by hundreds of people there. Our town is now kinda big but it's a small community. Just another bad car crash here in the SCV. The sheriffs and city planners need to do a better job of road designs here. I've lived here my whole life and have lots of friends to accidents in this town.

Heard it wasn't Walker's Porsche but one like it. Wonder who was driving? Not mentioning him is kind of a shame to the family making his life seem not important.

Maybe the family hasn't been notified? Weird considering the publicity, but it's possible. Or maybe they prefer to remain in anonymity seeing as you got cuckoo nutbirds out there who would blame the friend and could actually go after the fam over there hero's death.

Very possible. But, there were many people at the benefit and a lot who knew who was in the car, just surprised no leak yet.
