Team A and B play 10 games. What would be the win/loss record?

Team A: Cowboys offense + Seattle Defense

Team B: Seattle offense + Seattle Defense

Is this a variation off of the Mini Bears thing from SNL?

I would say Team A 7-3, Team B 3-7. The defense is a good equalizer and provides an opportunity for a lesser offense to make a play or two and pull out games against better opponents.

Team A....9-1
Team B....8-2

They both have winning (non-coinciding) records against each other?

NM....I was wondering if you or I had read the original question wrong....

I could go 7-3, 3-7 since this is hypothetical on teams alone, not factoring in coaching....

do we still have the castaways coaching the offense?

Seattle's coaches

My intention was to ask if they played 10 games against each other.

Seattle's defense and Seattle's offensive would be coached by Seattle's coaches.

Dallas' offense would be coached by Dallas' coaches.

Dallas's offense would try to throw the ball 45 times against this defence and get killed, IMO. Sure, they would probably have 2 or 3 stand out games where everything goes right, but over 10 games, it's a losing proposition.

Seattle's offence is a lot more physical and would at least bring some balance with Lynch.

I think the Seattle team would win 7 and the Dallas team would win 3.

Don't know but the Boys' offense and the Seattle D would likely win the SB.

If there are no injuries, Seattle's offense is a lot better with that defense than ours would be.

No way Jose! Unless we turned the ball over a lot our offense would score over 30 ppg with that defense due to an increased number of offensive possessions and winning field position. I think the Seattle offense is pretty good though.

In a perfect world I stick with my answers, 7-3, 3-7

You throw JG in there who knows...

Who is more physical on Seattle's offense other than Marshawn Lynch?

Are you from Canada?
