Team A and B play 10 games. What would be the win/loss record?
Team A: Cowboys offense + Seattle Defense
Team B: Seattle offense + Seattle Defense

I think he meant team A and team B would play each other.
Team A....9-1
Team B....8-2
do we still have the castaways coaching the offense?
They both have winning (non-coinciding) records against each other?
NM....I was wondering if you or I had read the original question wrong....
I could go 7-3, 3-7 since this is hypothetical on teams alone, not factoring in coaching....

If there are no injuries, Seattle's offense is a lot better with that defense than ours would be.

How do they go 8-8 in 10 games?
Seattle's coaches
My intention was to ask if they played 10 games against each other.
Seattle's defense and Seattle's offensive would be coached by Seattle's coaches.
Dallas' offense would be coached by Dallas' coaches.
Dallas's offense would try to throw the ball 45 times against this defence and get killed, IMO. Sure, they would probably have 2 or 3 stand out games where everything goes right, but over 10 games, it's a losing proposition.
Seattle's offence is a lot more physical and would at least bring some balance with Lynch.
I think the Seattle team would win 7 and the Dallas team would win 3.
