I will not be thrilled if they don't sign at least one of these horses. I understanding building for the future is important but IMO the NFL is about the here and now in this era. Does it make the team a SB contender probably not, but it makes them competitve with a chance every week to put a W in the column.

My point was, Allen wants big money and Melton won't come cheap. As much as we may have to suck it up and draft well to restock the DL and take some lumps. I would rather keep the cost down then overpay for a FA
