Do we even have enough players on our roster to field a team?

Way too early for me...but interesting to see the thoughts out there anyway.

Wouldn't it make a lot more sense to at least wait for after the draft

We need to open up a Schick Center for despondent fans....so many pessimists when the draft hasn't even happened yet

When did the Commanders become this world beater that people think they are going to sweep us now? Because they got djax? It's too early honestly. I don't see 13-3 nor 3-13 with this team. This should be made after the draft.

Does anyone have a link to last year's preseason prediction thread?
This has peaked my curiosity.

0-16.

Isn't that what some of you want to hear?

I don't think anyone wants to hear that but the reality is the division is much stronger, the schedule more difficult and out qb situation not real good to be honest. I don't have much faith in Romo making it very far into to season.

The Win/Loss record in 2014 is almost irrelevant to me. This needs to be a year to build the team up. I would keep young players with upside on the roster over low upside veterans even if it means sacrificing a win or two. I would make certain that backup players get enough snaps to evaluate their future.

How do you evaluate Garrett then?

6-10. I don't think the D is going to be much better, if at all, and I doubt we'll be able to hit 8-8 again if that's the case.

I don't really. I just want the players giving full effort unlike what happened with Wade.

The biggest need for the team is to develop some stability. They don't need more coordinator or Head Coaching changes.

I want to see them come out of 2014 with a young core that has as good understanding of the offensive and defensive schemes. I want to have a really solid evaluation of where players fit on this defense and where reduce the number of spots that need upgrading to a reasonable number. They have a really young roster and are saving a lot of cap space this year. The cap and dead money will be in much better shape next off-season. At that point a couple of free agent added to the defense could really finish out the rebuild of that unit.

Romo either stays healthy in 2014 and they add free agents and draft picks in 2015 to fishing the rebuild OR he gets injured and they end up with a top 10 pick and draft a QB in 2015. Either way they have a young core with stability and a good salary cap situation in 2015.

What is this talk of tough schedule? The Commanders and Giants are still going to suck...and I think the Eagles still will too.

The Saints aren't that great and the 9ers star is fading. Chicago and Seattle on the road are probably our two toughest opponents.

I give you the Giants but I think those other teams are better than we are at this juncture. Extending Romo has proven to be problematic and has not yielded short term dividends and been compounded by deferring money and his injury. Long term I am optimistic about the club but I could envision a dumpster fire the season and I truly hope I am wrong.

5-11 at worst 7-9 at best

I do agree it's too early to predict. Hopefully we'll have a great draft. If we've ever needed one its now.....

Will we be favored in any game besides Jacksonville and maybe the Giants? The giants look worse than us and thats sayin something.
