Andre Johnson wants out of Houston; Johnson and Dez on either side?

Quarterbacks age better than receivers.

I belief you because you are an American and a Cowboys fan. but i would think that receivers would age better simply because they are not hit as viciously as QBs are.
then again, receivers do spend a lot of time being tackled as well. Me I'll take my chances, injury and age-wise, as a receiver than as a QB.

I'm really starting to come around and see your point, especially after considering what impact Johnson would have on the development of Bryant, Williams, and Street. He'd be an excellent mentor.

A better thought is trading Dez to Houston for 2 1sts and letting those 2 WRs light it up in H town. Meanwhile our cap problems will be solved and the new picks won't arrive a moment late. 2015 & 2016

CHAMPIONSHIP

What cap problems? And why would you send your best offensive weapon away for something that is unknown? Who will Romo throw to???

Jerra if you are reading all this, nod and I will understand . . . But if you are not, i would assume word will get to you and right or wrong you will be intrigued by Johnson. Again, nod if you are intrigued. I will not tell these ruffians at CZ. ;)

Ah, the after dinner beverage must have been good tonight...:)

Silly we couldn't afford it, and beyond that I don't think Houston would let him go for nothing

Man, less than two weeks to training camp, and this fan isn't the slightest bit interested in fictional thought about a Houston player. They need what they already have too much to concern alternatives, now.

What's the price?

In no way do I want to take money away from Dez or Tyron.

Normally I would say no.... but if Garrett is so **** bent on pass, pass, run. Then I say go all in on it...

Practically every team in the league would take a stud WR like Johnson.

Few can afford him.

Don't tempt Jerry. He's never met a wide receiver he's not willing to trade two first-round picks for.

I wouldn't want him though. Too old. I'm assuming with a trade he'd be inked to a new deal.

Plus I don't know how he'd work with Dez. They're both alpha WRs.

Spend those resources on trench players. Preferably on defense.

CHAMPIONSHIP

teams are not built behind wide receivers

Our team isn't built around Dez. It's built around Romo and our o-line.

Having said that just looking at the postseason... The championship team traded a kings ransom for Harvin. The runner-up had D. Thomas and a gaggle of receiving options. San Francisco has a first rounder and a perennial bad mother shut Yo mouth in Boldin. Not to mention Vernon. Saints had Graham and Colston. Philly has DJax. Green Bay doesn't hurt for receivers. The worst teams with receiving options were the Colts and Chiefs.

Facts are important.

If you can't pass the ball and/or stop the pass you will struggle to win in this league.

DJax is in Washington now. Phili doesn't agree with you're point

After giving Maclin 6M dollars for a single year coming off a serious knee injury.

And way to ignore ALL those other examples. LOL

Enough ! Stay on thread and the two of you stop the jabs at each ..
