Instead of just complaining I would be interested for you to tell us what you would have done.

Dallas allowed 432 points last year. I keep hearing how this is the worst.

The Falcons (4-12) allowed 443 points.
The Jaguars (4-12) allowed 449 points.
The Raiders (4-12) allowed 453 points.
The Commanders (3-13) and the Bears (8-8) both allowed 478 points.
The Vikings (5-10-1) allowed 480 points.

Not defending the Cowboys awful Defense, but aren't those worse?

did zilch to improve it. Is Jerrah just playing a cruel joke on us?

we had the worst offensive line in the NFL two years ago and not so good secondary or LB group....can't address everything at once. there is only so much resource (draft picks, cap room).

we addressed OL. we addressed secondary. we hoped the DL would be fine (it use to be ware, rat, hatcher, spencer), drafted Crawford for depth, had josh brent.

then all of a sudden in one year we lost all - Spencer and Crawford to injury, rat to arseholeness, hatcher left, ware left, lee is injured.

so call it a case of bad luck or what ever, but all of a sudden the defense got hit in the most important spot.

and now Lawrence got injured.

we did sign melton (I think he is better than hatchter who outside of last year was always injured)> did sign a couple of mid level starters. did draft a couple of DL men.

again, there is only so much you can do in one off season.....

and if we addressed the defense, a lot of the same people here would be crying why we aren't addressing the offense and offensive line.

Draft players that don't always get hurt, ppl are surrpised when Sean Lee gets injured. Dude has never played a full season in his career; our drafts have been pitiful. WE should have drafted quality players instead we draft trash like Matt Johnson, victor butler, etcc.

The contracts Jerrah has handed out are absurd, to top it off he trades up in rounds and gives away draft picks which destorys our depth. So when our players get injured or drafts busts we have to sign gusy off the street.

They do seem to like the guys with potential but injury issues.

No my plan is not to give him one of the most absurd contracts I've ever seen.

Says the contract specialist.
Bet those 4 years of 6th grade rocked for you.:pjk

Why don't you say something of substance instead of all these generalities?

You were asked what you would have done. So we know you wouldn't have given the QB a contract that looks more and more like the norm for QBs at his level than something unusual. Ok , we get that.

But what would you have done for the defense?

And btw, many here think the defense WILL be better. But carry on.

So now we have both a QB problem and a defense problem.

They added a lot of players on defense since last year. Just because you do not agree with how they went about it does not mean they did not do anything.
