Disturbing rumor re: Rolando McClain

At least we have Charlotte to protect the Star.
I swear give the team to the woman already. Jones and his male seed are lost causes. She works on the brand...first action would be hiring a respectable HC to restore that "brand" that JJ confuses with $ and attention.

I lived in Dallas when Jerry bought the Cowboys and believe I was witness to Jerry's partying.
I love the guy

I'm not saying he doesn't party, and don't care one way or the other. I'm just saying I never seen or heard anything on the local media about any extra marital affairs.
I lived in the DFW area since 1998.

There is a huge difference between being in shape and being in football shape. He passed his conditioning test. He was in shape, he is *NOT* in football shape. That is causing the tightness in his hammy and his quad tingling. Like I said I think you are confused

So to take qualifiers to a higher level: I guess we can never say "he's in shape." It is a given, doctor, that when a fan say "he's in shape" "he is out of shape" that we means football. If you are so pedantic (I learnt that word in JC), great. I am sure you sleep real good at night. (ouch! i rolled my eyes so far back that i hurt meinself!)

Why do people always resort to the 'wanna bet?' routine as if it is any way meaningful?

I never claimed anyone lied. i do think Mike Fisher is speculating and filling in the gaps. I know people here have spread misinformation regarding this topic. Lying implies intent and I have no way of knowing that.

Betting is the most meaningful way to back up a proclamation. Its market clearing price for assumptions and expectations. Global Capital Markets are basically born from the wager - especially hedges and shorts - and due to action (market volume) you can calculate probabilities of events. Right now if you bet the 10 year treasury would go to 4% or 1.5% in 2 days you would pay a small premium on that call and the payoff would massive.

People are very bold until they have to lay money on an assertion or hypothetical.

Minimizing it as a "routine" is telling

Trainers have cleared Rolando McClain to practice, but he refuses to do so. They've told him he's fine, just sore.

This guy could make a huge difference if his heart is in it, but it doesn't look like it is.

Not sure this guy's worth the trouble, even with his talent.

So what now?
This thread is comical.

We all know it's 50-50 that he might quit, but this report is silly.

Trainers go by feedback from the players in regards to injury. Do you really believe that they can test for everything? Romo being held out is due to his feedback to the trainers, not some test that they perform. They can only test for hamstring injuries when they are severe. Moderate hamstring tightness or quad tightness is dependent on feedback from the player.

Do you really believe that McClain, after being out football should be going all out but that the trainers somehow tested Claiborne and determined that he can't practice due to tendonitis? Most decisions by the trainers are based on feedback from the players.

There should be different expectation for the condition someone will be in after working out on their own like McClain was doing in Tuscaloosa and what condition someone working out with the trainers and facilities that the NFL demands.

Really? You are hopeless. If you don't understand the difference between being in shape and football shape, well I don't know what to tell you. Stop trying to make something out of nothing. For the record I sleep just fine at night thank you, especially with my hot blonde wife next to me.

So all seriousness aside: Conversation between MO and McClain
MO: What's up my fellow first round bust..
RO: Man I am dead dog tired, sore, and clearly not in football shape
MO: No worries man the last two years I have felt the same way
RO: Oh yeah what have you done to help you get over the hump?
MO: I got this tendanitis thing this year last year was a tricep, the year before was the shoulder.
RO: What about your playing status as a starter and living up to that 1st round label?
MO: No worries whether your a star or a bust like us they are always going to remember you are a 1st rounder.
RO: Interesting so you basically skip all this training camp stuff and just plan on showing up on game day
MO: You got it man! That is what I do I show up on gameday and shut them down just like Deion used to!

As I said all seriousness aside...

Jackie! Love that character:D

When I think of the constant dumb comedies rolled out ever year with lame actors, I think that the funniest guy around is Jackie Childs' character.
You, BigStar are effusive, diffusive, anti-exclusive and ultraconfusive to say nothing of your concussive nature!
;)

It has no bearing on the truth nor on how the truth is determined. this is not a form of financial speculation we are predicting.

i prefer empiricism over boldness.

Fisher said they told him his hamstring is fine, and that soreness was normal. He still refused to practice.

With all of the hamstring injuries we've had the last few years, I'd be a little hesitant too in listening to anything these trainers say regarding the subject.
