Worthy was a 2nd round pick (I think) by a 'real' GM now traded for a late round pick.

If that 'real' GM continues to make decisions like that, he will be fired.

There is a real distinct reason why Bass became a fake cult hero around here. And it was not threads, it was constant little commentary that was based on zero.

Well since there was so much of this stuff that he became a fake "cult hero" it should be easy for you to pull up thread after thread of some other posters saying it like he was going to be a great player. However the real odds are that you are full of hyperbole and next to nobody ever thought he was going to be as good as you pretended them to say.

Let me know when you get some better threads than those weak ones, this time find some that support your over the top bull.

People are just hopeful that there is some lineman on this team who can play. Right now, that trade could have been for about any defensive lineman other than Melton and it probably wouldn't have been a bad deal.

Bass wasn't going to beat out McClain and Melton.

Then you have Brent (probably) coming back.

Saying he wasn't going to make the roster this early is foolish regardless of which player they are high on. You'd think a team with this many injuries would pause before basically cutting a guy after preseason week 1.
