wasted time= bad luck or bad management?
If that 'real' GM continues to make decisions like that, he will be fired.
Guess who won't be?
Well, like the Stones sing, "You can't always get what you want..." I seriously doubt the Pats would have offered a late draft pick for Bass.
There was more than enough half-hearted commentary during the draft and free agency period made by quite a few to actually create a backlash.
There is a real distinct reason why Bass became a fake cult hero around here. And it was not threads, it was constant little commentary that was based on zero.
Okay. But when do we find that we get what we need?
They traded the legend of Ben Bass???? Is Matt Johnson next?
Well that fight's over.
Get a doctor.
Watch Bass blossom into a formidable DL. It's amazing what being around a real football environment will to for a players attitude to improve and compete at a pro level.
Well since there was so much of this stuff that he became a fake "cult hero" it should be easy for you to pull up thread after thread of some other posters saying it like he was going to be a great player. However the real odds are that you are full of hyperbole and next to nobody ever thought he was going to be as good as you pretended them to say.
Let me know when you get some better threads than those weak ones, this time find some that support your over the top bull.
Next years draft.
Cowboys have DL talent that the pats covet, think about that...
Does this mean the flow of Ben Bass jokes is about to be plugged?
It means we must hand the baton to the Patriots' fans.
People are just hopeful that there is some lineman on this team who can play. Right now, that trade could have been for about any defensive lineman other than Melton and it probably wouldn't have been a bad deal.
Brent isn't helping any time soon. Who's the last guy (especially his size) who missed significant time from all activities and was in good enough shape to even practice?
Saying he wasn't going to make the roster this early is foolish regardless of which player they are high on. You'd think a team with this many injuries would pause before basically cutting a guy after preseason week 1.
Even without Brent you have 4 DT's.
Even Broaddus, who's watched every practice said that Bass wasn't making the team.
Asking a question that you have no answer and then pretending like the answer is obvious for does not make an argument. I have no examples of my own but neither do you so we still don't know.
I already told you that dedicated threads do not tell the whole story. If you want to pretend otherwise, be my guest.
It just tells me you do not pay attention as well as I give you credit.
Yes. They must.
Terrell McClain is the next one up.
