Cowboys Trade Ben Bass to Patriots in exchange for CB Justin Green***Merged***

Cowboys knew about Scandrick before camp opened, according to DC.com. Just today Scandrick's appeal was overturned and the suspension was official (if this is what you're referring to).

 

When I woke up this morning, I was thinking, how can we get Justin Green.

I had no idea we would have to pay this price.

For some reason this thread reminds me of the knee-jerk negative reactions to the Rolando McClain trade. And then the details of the trade became known. The nabobs of negativism retreated only to come out again when they heard idiotic rumors of McClain not wanting to practice/play. They then went back into hiding. Only to come back out and rant and rave at a trade about players and details they know nothing about.

None of us know if this trade is good or not. Time will tell. However, it seems like a fair trade for both sides. And it would be really nice to know who initiated the offer, the Cowboys or the Patriots. And it would be nice to know if Bass was the first choice of the Pats and Green for the Cowboys.

Neither Green or Bass are locks to make the roster. Who knows, maybe Bass gets cut and comes back to the Cowboys in Sept.
