new policy that may be forthcoming has received attention primarily because it would include testing for human growth hormone, which has never before been tested in the NFL. But the policy would also have some other changes.
LOL!!!!!
Oh geez.
So instead of making these guys learn from their stupid decisions and mistakes the idea instead is to change the rules to cut these poor guys a break?
Pathetic.

Per sources, the new drug policy is very close to getting done and Scandrick's suspension will be lifted immediately whenever it happens.
Why aren't they mentioning Scandrick in these articles? Would he not be eligible, or he's just not popular enough?
lol
You do not want to see the amount of guys who will get popped if this HGH thing goes through. The devil you know and all that.
I think this is premature......

If this all of a sudden gets worked out real soon, I would smell something fishy. The conspiracy theorist in me would suggest they want two stars back in the ratings.
The whole idea behind this push to get this done today is that the Commish wants
Welker on the field Sunday nite. Nobody in the NFL office cares whether
Scandrick plays or not...
What stupid mistakes?
Do you believe the 15ng/ml of the marijuana metabolite-the amount you get from second hand smoke and that the world in general has already moved from to 10 times the amount (150ng/ml)-should be enough to trigger the one year suspension, reputation hit, and loss of revenue that Gordon is facing?
Or do you believe amphetamines are a PED? And that the amount you can get for taking a simple recreation drug like ecstacy should trigger a 4 game suspension as a first offense when the spirit of the rule would have led to just a fine and no suspension until the 3rd offense?
All the while your favorite american sweetheart NFL player you adore could have been cheating the system with HGH the whole time. The NFL drug testing system has been seriously flawed for a while and it's time to be fixed. Now if they retroactively apply this rule to players who got suspended in the immediate interim to the new rules taking effect how much damage would that be?
Of course, on the other hand, I don't believe the domestic violence updates will be applied to Ray Rice so maybe their suspensions shouldn't be vacated.
