but that's the big difference. is like saying lets take out one of your fingers and see how you can throw the ball. martin replacing wht ever warm body that was there last year is a huge difference. just see the stat with Murray having the highest average before he is touched. you can't tell me that is linehan calling the same plays as last year. given its all the same cast as mentioned above..... has linehan had impact? yes. is all of this him. absolutely not.

That only fact I think is important is that the offense is 100% different this year then at any point during Jason's control as OC or HC. This is a whole new team this year.

I am guessing that it is the same reason he goes and make the threads to deflect credit from Garrett in the first place. People blustering infallibility like K and Risen are amusing. Only a fool buys it as true and for most it raises a big red flag as to trustworthiness. Especially given the importance of humility, reservation of judgment and forgiveness in American culture especially Texas.

Speaks to me of people that do not value such things.

Again, the last 8 games of last year, they were the number one team in yards per carry from the line of scrimmage. Yes, they are better this year than last year with Martin, but they were still good last year. Callahan has been here since 2012 developing this line.

It's simply not true if one doesn't think play-calling, including the running plays that Linehan has now blended with Callahan and Pollack efforts looks much better and play-action is now being used and effective.

Why are people posting articles about eating crow about Jason Garrett, when these same people use to argue endlessly that play-calling has nothing to do with it and yelling how none of the guys arguing that play-calling sucked don't know or understand football? Garrett took the head-phones and Wilson moved to the top of the booth. Unless you think that was all a mirage, what's your explanation of Garrett trying to get involved and Stephen Jones saying that Callahan was wanted to walk for an OC position, but they didn't let him.

Garrett has never been a puppet; it just appears that way to most folks, which is understandable because Garrett fights few public battles. He prefers to operate behind the scenes, where he can be more effective. Or you have to read between the lines to figure out when he's fighting Jerry.
For example, Jerry said last week that Callahan and Monte Kiffin were still the offensive and defensive coordinators, respectively. A day later, Garrett said each man was under contract but that their roles might change. And on Tuesday night, the team announced that Kiffin had been demoted to assistant head coach/defense with defensive line coach Rod Marinelli taking over as coordinator.
Now we know what Garrett meant. That's not a move a puppet makes.
