He was micd up and played phenomenal...he at one point three n out the deadskins by himself. Solid against the run and pass, with the return and unveiling of Lawrence maybe..We havent seen the ceiling for this defense just yet...i see a patmon unveiling soon as well :starspin::starspin::starspin::starspin:

Considering the injury he is coming back from, he has been a big surprise at DT. I thought we were going to get average at best performance from him.

And at DE, I thought I was right. Once he was moved to DT, I stand corrected.

He was really playing well...I see potential in this line even Selvie was playing hard hes really come around the last 2 games, soon as Spencer is in Game shape hell be good 2

Its crazy how good he has looked when you consider his stats. He is on the cusp of getting a bunch of sacks. It's just a matter of time.

From a purely statistical perspective, he is on pace to have the greatest 14 tackle 0 sack season a 4-3 DT has had in the history of the NFL.

;)

He's seems to be turning into a very nice 3-tech.

The only problem is - and this is a good problem to have - is that Melton is really starting to look like his old self as well. We need them BOTH. I see Carr restructuring or getting released to be able to keep Melton, as well as Dez, Murray, and McClain.

I really doubt we keep Melton for that three year option. I'd suspect it gets ripped up and another contract gets negotiated, assuming both sides want to continue here. He counts as 8 million against the cap going forward and I just see that coming down if we keep him here.

crawford has found a home at dt for sure.

really like his play thus far..

oh...and all the hayden haters...nick has played well too.

he got one last week i thought, i was much more impressed with his run stopping ability, how he was able to shed blockers

Imagine Crawford playing beside a playmaking DE.

like maybe cross my fingers Lawrence, But i also think Spencer comes around and will be more effective then Selvie. The Line would be Spencer Crawford Melton DLaw, in a perfect world of course.

Leon Lett may have bone to pick with you.

Would still like to see him get a sack. He's a good player but nothing great yet

crawford is homegrown i guess thats why i root for him a lil more that others, but Melton had a heck of a game, thats twice this year he almost had six, once he almost had a int if he just located the ball, and monday he alomost had the strip 6. McClain also has to have mention he had a strip tackle for a loss taken away from him
