no one ever said that and u would not know a pro bowl player if one hit u in the face

Dude you did. People on here like you are jumping on me because I said he wasn't great. When did I ever say he was a bad player. Never did.

I have alot better eye for football talent than you do. I've read your threads in the past. Absolute awful

"I've watched him and I have seen a regular normal good DT. Nothing great."

He is more than a regular, normal good DT. He is very good right now. Probably not pro bowl good yet, but I wouldn't be shocked if he were in a year or two.

Might even make you move off your entrenched 'just a guy' position. Let us know when that happens so we can add it to the list.

Yeah, except I never said that about Crawford.

But I understand. To get a leg up on me, you need to fabricate things.

Must we constantly do this dance, Risen? I don't need to get a leg up on you, because I'm simply more than a leg up on you. I just call you on the junk you consistently post. Then you deny it. Then I link to it. Then you disappear and try to pretend it didn't happen. We went through this with Doug Free not being 'slop.' We went through it with 'only fan boys think Josh Brent will be suspended for anything less than a full year.' We went through it with the 'Jason Hatcher is average or is just a guy' stuff. You say all sorts of things that just aren't true in order to get attention.

As to the Crawford stuff, you used to lump him in with Ben Bass when you wanted to make the point that we had nobody at all on the DL. Except Crawford actually *can* play, so making fun of him looks...shortsighted in retrospect. Or maybe you were serious about him and Ben Bass previously, and all of us just mistook your praise of the DL for sarcasm?

Give me a break.

EDIT: bad link.

Were you trying to link something?

The guy who had to wait and see on stiffs like Costa and Arkin and Nagy is more than a leg up on me. That's rich.

I never considered Crawford a JAG prospect. The only thing I ever said about Hatcher is he was a JAG early in his career and improved steadily over his career. You can say what you wish, but I love to see you create a stance I supposedly have so you feel better about our exchanges.

Having said that, Crawford isn't some super emerging player either. What we read here is mostly nonsense from homer fans. If he can play a little it becomes a lot. He's been okay at best this year.

The concept of waiting to see if young players with potential pan out or not is not revolutionary. Nor is the idea that many of them do not end up sticking.

This issue is that you insist that they will not when you simply don't have enough information to have made an informed decision. And yet you insist for whatever needy reason to pretend that you do. The reality is that most players on an NFL roster for their first year or two do not pan out. But some of them do. So, yes, you really do have to wait and see sometimes. Like with Crawford, who's obviously playing better than 'ok, at best.'

Anyway, you can try the innocent 'who, me???' act if you think it works for you. I think the regular posters here know better at this point.

Get up out of the chair, walk outside, beat your head against the curb. It will accomplish just as much and probably hurt less. Tomorrow, rinse and repeat.

FROM MY POST, ABOVE:

Notice the trend, though? Because it's sort of a repeating pattern. :)

It's called a projection. You watch college football. You study the draft. I'm not interested in being brainless and saying...hey, let's see if Phil Costa pans out guys. Who knows yet?....I know. You didn't.

My real take on Crawford, not your fabricated fantasy, is he's an okay prospect. He's got potential. But he's done nothing yet for anyone to pencil him in as piece for the future. I much prefer the other Boise St. product. The one I was talking about in January while you were still trying to get the blue and silver paint off your face.

Anyway, you can try the innocent 'who, me???' act if you think it works for you. I think the regular posters here know better at this point.

Anyone keeping score knows what you say isn't true. You distort, distort, distort, in an effort to have some company. So you're not the only clueless fan in the discussion.

What you say I've said about Crawford is a fantasy. What I say you've said about stiffs like Costa, Arkin and Nagy is true. And that has to really piss you off.

You're the guy who didn't know those guys sucked. You're the guy who didn't believe in the impact of interior offensive linemen and even now aren't bright enough to see the error of your ways with Frederick and Martin being huge impact players.

And we should take you seriously now because.......?

Ooh! This one's easy: It's because I provide links to contradict the stuff you make up, and you do not. Up to and including your mocking of Crawford and lumping him in wth Ben Bass.

And I know you want to think I take your posturing seriously, but I really dont.

I was in favor of both the Frederick and Martin picks the way those respective broke, by the way.

Very illuminating tet-a-tet going on here.
I'm enjoying this immensely on this lovely Halloween evening with some rifftrax'd horror movies marathoning for my pleasure.
