BUT IT'S PAINFUL AND HE WON'T BE PLAYING FOR A COUPLE OF WEEKS
lol, the sky is falling, the sky is falling.
Okay, chicken little.
Even if it's not a serious injury we don't have a good idea right this moment what this injury could mean to the rest of Romo's season. To the fan who claimed this injury is no big deal it could end up being a very big deal if in a few days it's being reported that Romo could be out the next 4 to 6 weeks or even the remainder of the season. What's being reported is very concerning because it may be an injury that has to be completely healed or further damage could occur. There's going to be opposing players out there looking to take Romo out with this injury. Anymore direct hits to his back and gosh knows what might happen. .
It is painful.
Here is how this breaks down. It isn't about the pain. It is about how he reacts to a shot. Shots near the spine can produce undesired effects like loss of feeling in limbs. If he responds OK he's a go
didn't practice all week, highly doubt he plays
Bummer.
If this side bone fracture reverts him back to the mobility and accuracy he had in the first couple weeks, just sit him down.
You sound like the type that want a General to tell the truth during a combat mission. What incentive does an organization trying to get a competitive edge to tell the truth? How many coaches or football team mouth pieces tell the truth unless they have to? Your premise is foolish and it is foolish to get your feelings hurt over this.so they've been lying all week
We won't know for sure but Bryce Petty from Baylor had the same injury last month and he missed one week. The injury heals on its own so surgery is not required. Bryce Petty returned against Buffalo and threw for 400 yards and 4 tds.
Weeden will start Sunday and if he does well enough he will probably start in London too with the bye week coming.
At this point a healthy Romo for the stretch run is needed.
Tony Romo Has 2 Fractured Transverse Process In Back, May Miss Week 9
by Josh Hill 11m ago
The Dallas Cowboys are hoping that the injury to Tony Romo isn’t serious, but he could end up missing some time with the latest diagnosis.
Tony Romo got bange dup in the Cowboys Monday night loss to the Washington Commanders and the ripple effect from that may take him out for a week or two as he recovers. The exact problem with Romo’s back wasn’t known until today but even now that the diagnosis has been made it doesn’t make understating his issues any easier.
According to Todd Archer from ESPN, Romo has 2 fractured transverse process in back, which is putting his status in question for this weekend’s game against the Arizona Cardinals.
It’s not a fractured back that Romo has, so don’t go around thinking that. Instead, it’s an intricate part of the spine that is fractured and not allowing Romo to move freely or how he needs to move.

Basically, leave it to Tony Romo to have one of the most complicated injuries of the season. HE couldn’t have just done something simple like break a finger or twist an ankle. It wouldn’t be a Tony Romo situation though if it wasn’t overly complicated and impossible to understand, but like all other situations all we know is that it’s bad news for a surging Cowboys team that actually needs him for once.

I'm reading all these posts of folks freaking out and I can't help but LOL. Romo will be okay even if he does miss a game or two. Stop with the damn drama people. Worse case, Romo is benched, Weeden plays. Weeden can win at least one of the next two games. After the Bye Romo will be fine. The team will be fine. Like Aaron Rodgers said... R E L A X
