Must win the next 4

I think its more likely we get swept by Philly than us sweeping Philly.

The game on Thanksgiving is a must win IMO. Can't lose that and then expect to win in Philly IMO.

How do you figure it's more likely we get swept by Philly than the other way around and if we lose on Thanksgiving so we can't expect to win in Philly. Well I'm glad you have it all figured out. Shouldn't even play the games since you have it figured it.

Cowboys should finish no worse than 11-5... I don't accept 10-6.

No way should we finish the year 3-3.

We need to win as many as possible but Philly is most likely going to lose to Greenbay and Seattle so that's going to be 2 more losses for them as well.

I wouldn't chalk up a loss to the Packers or Seahawks by any stretch. Green Bay is good but their defense can give up a lot of points and the Eagles can post up a ton of them. Not to mention that Green Bay's O-line is suspect against good pass rushing teams (which Philly happens to be very good at). Seattle can't pass the ball, as it is, to save their lives and Philly can get to the QB as well as any team in the league, right now. I hate Philly as much as anyone but they are a seriously legitimate contender to represent the NFC in the Super Bowl this year. I'll guarantee you that neither Green Bay or Seattle are chalking this one up as a win.

how so? road division games are going to be tough. as is chicago in the cold. you know how these teams treat our games like the super bowls so I can't even take into account how bad some of them have looked this year (chi vs. gb, nyg vs seattle).

Yep.The Skins game is a perfect example. They look like world beaters the week they play us. The following week? Back to being the Toilet Bowl Champs that they are. EVERYONE and I mean EVERYONE gets up to play the Cowboys. It doesn't matter whether we are bottom feeders or Super Bowl Champs. It's been that way for the majority of this franchises history.

I just think we have to sweep the Eagles and then the Giants and Bears are terrible so we should beat bad teams. 3 is a sure to make the playoffs but I think we have to win all 4 to win the East.

If you think the only way we get to the playoffs is if we sweep the Eagles, you may be in for a disappointment.
I don't think that's a requirement, btw.

Great running game does not care about the weather. lol When the temps drop and the winds are howling they can greatly affect the passing game but does nothing to slow down a power rushing team.

Next 4 games are all must wins in my book. If we want to win the NFC East that's what has to happen. Looking at the Eagles schedule they have @GB which I can see them losing but then it's pretty easy. They get Seattle at home. I think to win this division we have to sweep the games with the Eagles.

The best thing is for them to win out. Not just the next four but the next six would be even better. It'll be nice if they can get a bye and host a game in the playoffs. They just need to take one game at a time.

That's true, Dooms, but unfortunately oversimplified. You still have to have a prolific passing attack to go along with that well traveling, weather beating running game. If you can't make teams pay for loading up to stop that running game then you're dead, weather or no. Arizona proved, in perfect weather conditions, that if there is no passing threat then the Cowboys are a very pedestrian team whose running game can be stopped in it's tracks and whose defense can still be picked apart.

The Cowboys have to beat Washington, New York, and the Bears because they are all bad teams. They also have to beat the Eagles once and beat the Colts because I don't believe that the Cowboys will sweep Philly. Gotta win 4 out of the 6 games to get in. I don't think 10 wins will get you in.

We sweep the Eagles and we don't even have to play our starters the last two games. They are going to lose against the Packers and Seahawks.

Sure you do but when you can run in bad weather you can also keep the down and distance in your favor making it easier. With Romo at QB if teams want to stack the line great bring it on.

Washington says "Hi". It's on more than Romo. Linehan and Dolley need to earn their pay over the remainder of the season.

I'm not so sure that they will lose to Seattle, not sure if they will even make the playoffs.

There is now a complete game for film to study on how Sanchez is playing in this system. 2 Games by the time we play them.
Take care of the Giants, do not over look that game, it is just as important as the Philly game.

I wouldn't doubt over the bye week, there will be some game preparation and film study of the Eagles too. But emphasis still on the Giants game.

Take care of business one game at a time, as we all know that. I keep waiting for the Eagles to implode just a bit, but it's not happening. GB will be a tough game for them, but GB will need to outx score them, unless their defense steps up a bit at home. Seattle playing better, so they will still give the Eagles a tough game, in spite of their road record.

Bears have imploded but won't take that game for granted, even though we will go in there with a chip on the shoulder from what happened last year.

We will need to stay healthy rest of the way.

I say Hi right back at them, They won and Dallas did a poor job of dealing with the blitz I tip my hat to the skins in that game. I know damn well Dallas can handle the blitz because they have done so before the skins game. OL needed to do a better job.

Pretty much this.

The only way we should go 3-3 is if our run game is shut down and we can't pick up the blitz while running our receivers 15 yards down field when being blitzed.

I'm just glad that we're in position where three or four wins will get us in. I'm not counting on Dallas to win its next four because that's a tall order. Three of six or four of six is reasonable.
