For years we have heard the importance of a team getting hot at the right time. Over the last 2 games Dallas is showing themselves as a team that is getting hot.

For Romo in the past 2 games he has gone 43 of 57 for 6 TD and 0 ints

Even defense to a certain extent has been able to stop 2 of the better RB in Forte who was held to 26 yards and McCoy who went for 157 on thanksgiving yet was held to 64 yards this past game. In the past 2 games Dallas has forced 6 turnovers.

I would say with 2 games to go the arrow is pointed in the right direction as post season approaches

Agreed. And hopefully this trend continues on Sunday. Because a loss to the Colts will put a halt on things in a hurry, especially if the Eagles win Saturday.

The arrow can flip pretty fast.

No doubt about it, Garrett has to have this team focused on the Colts no matter what. Eagles win or lose Sat, Cowboys only need to concern themselves with the Cowboys. Thus far this season Dallas has done well by keeping the focus on themselves not other teams.

I hope that we use similar game plans in the upcoming games as the two previous games. Fast starts and pedal to the metal. No more of the usual game plans where we look lethargic and have to play from behind. We need to play with urgency from the get go, which is not always the case with this team, especially at home.

The good thing is Philly plays on Saturday, so if they happen to lose to Wash, we win on Sunday and we are NFC East champs! Come on RG3PO!

Lets hope Washington's D does to Sanchez what they did to Romo. Even if they do half of that Sanch will fold.

That and a dollar will get you...well, no, it won't even get you a cup of coffee anymore.

I'm going to agree with the OP. Last two games have looked a little like a return to glory from the early season success. No coincidence that Murray has been force fed massive carries and the D and passing game have reaped the rewards. Despite the dramatics in the middle of both games the start and finish have been everything you could ask for and both sides have made plays in nut cutting time to win games.

Agree with this as well as the OP too.
Was hot, cooled off, now getting hot again.

Offense still playing well, if not better all around. Defense playing better like they did in in first 6 to 8 games.
Even ST's seem better the past 2 games. Other than Harris returns still aren't all that great.
Which means he is due to break a big return.

This can turn out much better, than hot for 12 games, then cool off, obviously.

Let's dirty that Sanchez!

And yes, Doom, I think you are right. Keep this win streak going. No more losing games until next regular season!

Beat another playoff bound team in the Colts, on the right track.

Play tough defense, win the turnover battle, and run the ball.

It is definitely another gut check. If they win and then coast past the Commanders as they should, you then have a very hot and confident team going into the postseason. That would be something we have not seen in a long time.

All for it.

But if eagles collapse and lose last two and we lose to colts but beat skins....I AM GOOD!

Me too but I do agree with Alexander of the importance of beating a playoff contending team in the Colts. Just the mental state of this team would be a big boost to take on back to back games with contenders and winning. Like you I will take the playoffs anyway we can get it but I think if this team expects to make a serious run this game is big

I won't deny or shy away from it.... I am getting my hopes up..... HIGH! HOPES!
