If Sam Bradford is released

Assuming Bradford could stay healthy. Something Bradford hasn't done for the past two years. And there is no way Bradford is coming here as a backup. Sorry. Just not a possibility.

Two years? He hasn't been healthy since high school

A funny thing that bothered me about him, he said he grew up in OK surrounded by Dallas Cowboys fans so he became a Steelers fan. And that he hated the Dallas Cowboys.

Simply not a fan.. There's not a whole lot to suggest he's better than Weeden, other than he's got a few more miles on him. I realize we're talking backup, but I've just never been impressed by overall play.

I can understand the sentiment. I think he's head and shoulders above Weeden (which is still not saying much in my eyes) and would make a perfectly desirable backup for the QB position should the price be right which is the position we're talking about.
Not that my opinion is any more valid than yours- respectfully.
