I know it's a pipe dream, but man would that be a huge addition, even if he's a basket case.

I just can't see the Cowboys paying top dollar for anyone other than a QB with their new spending approach. I agree with this philosophy but at the same time, I hope they get a big ticket DL FA. Me = torn

I love his talent but don't see us spending that much money on him. We already have a 3 technique in Crawford, though I think we all agree that Suh would be the better of the two (not saying Crawford isn't progressing though and our best defensive lineman). We would have to restructure Tyron and Romo for this to happen. I can see Tyron but not Romo. Chances of happening... Slim to none.

As if they ever were going to tag him for $27M. This should surprise no one.

I still say he would make a big difference here but I seriously doubt Dallas would want to pay the money for him.

.....many threads about to pop up now....

He may still sign with the Lions.
Ravens possibility too according to ESPN.

He's going to wind up in Seattle unfortunately.

I don't know how they can do that with the extensions they did last year with Sherman, Avril, Wright, and Thomas, giving Lynch a raise, and the inevitable contract for Russell Wilson.

If he's going strictly for the money, I think he's a Raider.

He is still the guy I want most in free agency.

Players like him in their prime just don't become available very often.

He would transform the trajectory of our defense overnight.

But yeah... very unlikely to happen.

Suh played both the 3 and the 1 in Detroit. He gets pressure from either position.

They want two 3 tech types in the Nickel which is about 50% of the snaps.

They would likely start the game with Suh at the 1 and Crawford at the 3. They would try to have them together as much as possible in the Nickel and Suh would likely play some 3 when Crawford is resting.

Understand... But Rob wants a rotation. He will command 13+ million a year... A lot of money for a part time 1 technique who plays 3 on nickel downs on a rotational basis.

Suh would likely play the most snaps of any of the DL. Yes, in Marinelli's rotation it would likely be less than what he played in Detroit, but he was rarely off the field there. I think he averaged playing over 80% of the snaps in Detroit. That's probably at the top of the league for DTs.

I'm very certain that if we signed Suh, he would be on the field significantly more than any other DL.

We're looking for bargains. Rumors on Twitter were watching greg hardy situation closely. Cheap 1-2 year deal

If my choices based on annual salary are Suh or extending Fredbeard and Martin I'd rather the two offensive linemen.
