Cowboys have Trent Cole on FA wish list

I think Cole would love to play for the Cowboys, he won't have to stay on the field for 40 minutes like his old team.

Cole didn't look like same player this year for Eagles this year. One of reason Eagles have stayed competitive for long time is they know when to cut bait. I wouldn't give him much money but I do think marinelli could squeez few more sacks out of him.

Do people realize Cole has played out of position the last two years as a 3-4 OLB?

Sorry fellow, Hardy is not on Dallas' radar. He is not coming to Dallas period.
Keep looking for other bargain bin players and you'll sleep better at night.

Might try looking at Tyson Alualu or Adrian Clayborn and you'll be in the same zipcode as Dallas is shopping.

Okay that's fine - I think as an organization though, everything should be on the table until it isn't. To dismiss Hardy or even Suh without kicking the tires just wouldn't happen but maybe they have and are moving on from them. As soon as the team says something to that effect I will be completely onboard with other options.

I will check those guys out and see what their resumes are.

So Bargin Bin Nation hasnt gotten to you either.

PM me and I'll tell you where our secret meeting place is

This would pleasantly shock me. It seems very much out of character to go after veterans who still could carry a healthy pricetag.

Denver didn't pay him for that, they paid Manning to WIN the Super Bowl. He, and the rest of the team, stunk it up. It was easily the most embarrassing Super Bowl I have ever watched, and I'm not even a fan of the team.

So yes, Manning didn't show up when it mattered. That's been the story for most of his career. Genius and innovative QB in the regular season, ordinary in the post-season.

Great QB, but also a media darling.

Trent Cole's nickname in Philly was "the hunter".

Do you guys think that fits amongst our rushmen?

I think George Selvie's is Mecha Chuck Norris With Oliva Munn's Boobs With A MiniGun Mounted To A 50 Foot 4K TV

As a pash rush specialists I like it.

Always liked his 4 point track stance he played out wide. Hell, if he gets 6 sacks its a success IMO!

That was a wide 9, Marinelli so far doesn't line his guys out that far.

I've always respected Cole's game, could have Mincey style impact in terms of leadership on that side of the ball as well, would be a great guy for Lawrence/Gardener to be around.

Yeah the Eagles don't keep old vets around, they just sign them like Frank Gore.

Ehhh...not important. :)

I am curious as to your actual thoughts on rather you'd be for Cole or not.

I've got to say I'm not.

32 years old. Yes he's played out of position for 2013 and 2014 but in his last full season as a 4-3 end he only had 3 sacks. I'm not sure that Cole is all that good a pass rusher anymore.

Maybe for a year but I'm not all that excited about it.
