That is in trouble for currently the biggest issue in the NFL with having domestic violence claims against him.

The league is still in the process of finding a new disciplinarian to replace Goodell following the January announcement of the new policy. That is the holdup. He was acquitted of the charge for all of people's disrespect for rule of law.

I agree. that and also there weren't many teams chasing him. odd considering his talent. maybe people aren't so sure of his character and this domestic incident can't be written off as a 1-time thing.

I don't think you have too many on here rueing the deal. I think many are disappointed with a possible 10 game rental.

I like how we aren't hurt if he tanks....or if he has more issues. I'm not sure he won't be one of those "progress stoppers". If he were here for two maybe three years, then he'd be a part of the team...a part of what we're trying to build.

Just because they couldn't work out a long term deal and waived franchise rights doesn't mean that Hardy cannot negotiate with the club between now and next March nor that he doesn't want to be here. We value the DE position for all of not wanting to pay RBs but if he wants to get paid like Watt and Suh then he has to do some proving of himself. His agent is Drew Rosenhaus. People need to quit being naive.

He is freak and will be dominant in Dallas. But I just don't see how Dallas can get aggressive with long term deal with suspension. It looks like one year rental so I say push all chips in and go for it. I would bring FA CB also.

If Hardy keeps his nose clean, stays healthy, and produces like an elite pass rushers, he gets paid like an elite pass rusher.

If he gets injured, suspended more, or doesn't produce, he gets JAG money.

If you're not going to give the player the guaranteed money up front, he's going to want the one year deal. I would have been willing to take the risk with the guaranteed money. He will only get more expensive next year.
