Will The Yankees and Mets Win More Than 80 Games This Year?

I could see a Yankee team that is its worst in 20 years.

I could see a Yankee team that makes the playoffs.

It all depends on the health of the starting pitching.

They didnt have it today.

I think every AL East team has lots of questions and its a toss up with how NY, Bos, TB,& Tor will finish. The Orioles lost Cruz but getting a healthy Machado & Wieters back should negate that. Chris Davis should be healthy and not have that oblique bothering him all year. Yea, IM biased, but I think the O's have a good shot at winning it again.

I have no idea who's going to win the East. Health will determine it.

But I do think this is the last year of Yankees mild swoon.

They'll be back spending like lunatics come next offseason.

Im pretty confident in saying the Rays wont win it this year. Other than that, who knows . . . . . . .
 
Their Pitching could be really good, if healthy

Tanaka and Pineda are solid, Eovaldi is a riser, CC stinks but eats innings and cakes
Betances and Miller are lights out in the pen

The Defense should be good with DiDi and Drew up the middle and Tex and Headley on the corners. Gardner and Ellsbury are above average with the glove and bat.

A bounce back from McCann, Tex, Beltran and ARod will be a bonus

I see 90 wins at least

Not sure why but this year I am pretty positive. I think we might win more than 80 if injuries don't pile up again. I missed baseball big time .
