Yes, it is. I'm an old geezer,too, and had gotten over that drop until this thread...thanks. :) I remember Dandy Don saying "bless his heart" or something to that effect after his OUTRIGHT, INDEFENSIBLE DROP!!!:mad:

No I had the displeasure to waste my time watching him choke whilst he got PAID. Also someone mentioned Bill Buckner I would consider this gong shows blunder way worse

Jackie made some big plays leading up to the SB that helped Dallas get that far. Roger has always defended Jackie and I'm sure he sleeps quit well at night

I'm sure he does to. cause he's a LOSER !! I hope he and the rest of thoses Cowboys have to listen to how great the Steelers were in that decade when they could have had 3 SB and Steelers could have 3 but you know what let him sleep well what does he care he's in the HOF while other more deserving 70s Cowboys should, but never will. The Steelers they have almost the whole team in their. Sleep well Jackie, sleep Well......

I don't think the guy is a loser at all, I watched him through out his career and the guy was an outstanding TE. You can hate the guy all you want the guys who played with him have a very different take.

Maybe he was an outstanding TE, but in the biggest moment he CHOKED. Because Roger forgave him doesn't mean all of them do... Have you spoken to all of the players ?

Next time you see the players or if you ever get a chance to ask them and ask them alone not in front of anyone ....you'll be surprised what they say. As for Hateing him. LookHates a real string word I think it's a funny title for a thread do I wish him ill will no, But I think he choked and I'm not a fan and every time I see that play my blood boils and it pisses me off something bad it's a raw emotion when it comes to that game and that play. To think of what could have been

I hated the play as well but it happened in the 3rd qrt of the game and was not the sole reason for the loss. You make it out as if it was the last play of the game.
I also hated the play on the on side kick where Randy White who was wearing a cast had the ball and lost it but it was one play and not his career.

Too me it was his career. Don't blame RW. That play would have tied the score after that we were in a hole and couldn't get out of
